I can't squat. That's the first thing I said to Sid. Like I can't do it. I won't do it. I don't squat, so what's next. By the end of my first session. He's like...so you can squat. Say whhhhat? Sid is an awesome trainer and most importantly he's patient. I am extremely self conscious about working out. I just feel like I'm bad at it. So I don't like working out in a gym because I don't know what to do. He gave me that confidence that makes me want to work out and work to be healthier...he's extremely knowledgeable and can give you such great tips and suggestions to get those little kinks out of your shoulder...you know what I'm talking about :p did you know you can use a baseball to roll out those little kinks?! I have been training with Sid for almost two years now and I can say that his online coaching has helped me so much. Before training with Sid, I was at my heaviest weight and I wanted to make a change. I used to go to the gym but stopped going because I felt discouraged. I didn't know what I was doing or what I should be doing. I have never had a trainer before and the thought of getting one intimidated me. Enter Sid Mascardo. I was hesitant to ask Sid for help, but he heard from my boyfriend that I was interested and talked to me about it. He asked me what my goals were and we started from there. Because of my work schedule, I can't go to him and get personal training sessions with him, so it was a plus that he was able to program me online. Sid really is the best personal trainer. He cares about his clients and puts in the time and effort to check on his clients. He checks in on me on a weekly basis and asks how I am doing with my work outs and with tracking my macros. He adjusts my macros when needed and updates my work out splits frequently. The work out splits he has made for me are tough, but it's because he knows that I can do it. If I felt that there was something that was too intense, he definitely listened to me and adjusted the work out. He's always answering my questions through text while I'm doing my sets, which I really appreciate! Sid has helped me lose weight and gain strength and is still helping me with my goals.If you're thinking about contacting Sid for online coaching, I would definitely recommend that you do it. I highly recommend Sid to anyone looking for a personal trainer.  I have been training with Sid two days a week for a little over 2 years.  When I first started with Sid, I had stopped going to the gym regularly and had gotten out of shape.  I decided I wanted to get back in shape and chose to work with Sid to help me get there as quickly as possible. One thing I love about Sid is that he is big on making  sure you have proper mobility.  When I first started with him I had poor ankle flexion and struggled to maintain proper form for squats.  Since Sid incorporates foam rolling and stretching into your training, my mobility quickly improved  and was squatting more than I ever had in my life.During personal training sessions, Sid is great.  He is very diligent about watching your lifts and making sure you have correct form.  He does a great job encouraging you to push harder and get the most out of your sessions.Although I train with Sid two days a week, he programs my other workouts for the rest of the week.  If I have questions during my workouts, I can always count on Sid to respond to my text messages very promptly.Obviously, good nutrition is key to making progress in the Gym.  Sid also provides you with recommended targets for Macro-nutrients to help you meet your goals.Thanks to Sid I am in the best shape I have ever been in my life and my friends and family have taken notice.  Take a look for yourself, my before/after photo from last year is in the photos section. I've been training with Sid one on one for a little over half a year now. Let me tell you, best personal trainer ever, not only does he listen to your needs and concerns, but he will adjust accordingly to what works for YOU. He takes everything into consideration and will always, always, always, ask what works best for you to get you to your goals. I, no doubt, vouch for Sid 200%. He's been patient with me and has always worked with me even when things don't go as planned. Since March of 2017 till now, Sid has took my squat from 275lbs to 315lbs (40lbs increase), bench from 140lbs to 160lbs (20lbs increase), and deadlift from 285 to 335lbs (50lbs increase). As a strength athlete, he's catered to my needs which also includes my weaknesses. He's taught me so much about mechanics, mobility, and so many more things that have helped me get stronger. Aside from the strength training, he's helped me dropped about 20lbs, in counting, to prepare for an upcoming competition .. in about almost 2 months. He didn't help me maintain my strength at a lower body weight, but actually helped me get even stronger. His training sessions don't include work out plans, but also macros to help meet your goals as well. Not many trainers include that, or they'll charge extra for nutritional advice.To sum it all up, Sid really cares and takes the time to check up on his clients. Even when I'm out of town and can't make it to meet him in person, he adjusts and makes sure I can still get a good workout in, even if I don't have access to the usual equipment. I know he can customize workouts to even do in the park! I have mad respect for Sid, I don't regret hiring him as my trainer/coach. He's always been 100% supportive and helped me with physical strength but helped me improve my mental focus too! Highly recommend him if you're in the area!Also, I used to drive from San Dimas or West Covina to see Sid. San Dimas if I go directly after work, and West Covina if I'm coming from home. I'm very meticulous with my exercise programming. I always put focus on making sure your body is limber and has the strength to carry itself throughout the entire day. I intertwine that with exercises that caters to muscle building and weight loss.

Consistency, diligence, and patience are key. I understand that it's not a simple incline up, progression has its ups and downs and I have to keep motivating myself to continue.

When I see the positive applications outside of the gym that my training has provided for my clients.

To promote my own ideology in fitness and health. I have access to a private gym facility that allows me to fully practice my methods of personal training.

Not many personal trainers put emphasis in making sure your muscles and bones are moving correctly.
