Samantha photographed our April wedding in Carbondale. She and her assistants did an excellent job! It was like they were everywhere at once, pitching in with details. She and her assistants were definitely a calming presence and put us all at ease. We requested a very long list of extended family portraits, and she took it on without any hesitation. We requested some not so typical locations for our engagement session and post wedding ceremony sessions, and Samantha was totally open to that. We used Samantha as our wedding photographer this past June! She was EXCELLENT. She made everything so easy and it was definitely one of the least stressful pieces to the wedding puzzle. The day of the wedding Samantha was prompt on time and you didn't even know she was there, but she was snapping away taking amazing photos. She even helped me tie the bow on the sash to my wedding dress and I must say that was a dang perfect bow. We also had a little mishap with one of the bridesmaid dresses and Sam saved the day with her safety pins! She truly takes everything into consideration and captures all the details. She's extremely comfortable to be around and gives excellent direction. Her turn around time was super fast and we had our photos back in no time at all to enjoy for years to come! Samantha was absolutely amazing. Even with a last minute venue change, she stayed on top of everything. She made sure my husband and I were comfortable and made our wedding day flow as easy as possible. She brought along her assistant Danni who made sure our little ones were warm on our cold November day, until Samantha was ready for them. She then took all the kids pictures first, to get them back inside, then her and Danni braved the cold with us for quite some time after that. Every picture we received was absolutely breathtaking. She made sure she had taken every picture we wanted before she left. Samantha and Danni were professional yet had no problem joining us for some fun. I don’t think I could have had a better photographer for our day. Before, during and after our wedding she was extremely informative and helpful. Her communication with both my husband and I was exceptional for what to expect and what we could expect. We are so glad that we hired Samantha for our big day and highly recommend her services! Leading up to the wedding she was always available to answer any questions. Her package prices are very reasonable and she does INCREDIBLE work. Before our wedding, we met with Samantha to ensure that during the day everything went smoothly and that we got pictures with everyone in our family and didn’t forget anyone. Samantha guided us for our couple’s shots and group shots and we were so happy with her creative ideas. Aside from our posed pictures we had plenty of wonderful candid shots from the ceremony and reception as well. Samantha made our first-look special and intimate and helped us get all the pictures we wanted without wasting time so that we could enjoy time with our family and friends during our cocktail hour and reception. We were happy to have access to our online gallery only 3 weeks after our wedding and were even happier with the quality and quantity of the photos in the gallery.
