I came here looking for something fun to do with my hair and that's exactly what I got. The ladies at this spa are nothing but amazing and generous. I was offered refreshments while getting my hair styled which is always an awesome bonus in my book. Carson took care of my hair using enriching products as she styled me with curls and 2 side braids. The atmosphere was great and relaxing. My hair turned out gorgeous! Shelly is a remarkable individual and hairdresser! I have the hair I always dreamed of. She takes the time to listen and understand and even more importantly she problem solves hair issues. Just went for a haircut and had a terrific experience. Shelly and Taylor are both sweethearts and really know hair well. I've had a lot of haircuts where I leave with way less hair than I originally wanted, but not here. A trim is a trim and they wash your hair thoroughly and curl it beautifully. Lauren Beverly has been trimming my hair for about 2 years now. For the first time I had a stylist who listened to me since I prefer length. Plus, she is so personable and genuine, and my hair hasn't looked this healthy in a while. I was looking for a change, so when I heard she moved back from Hawaii, I couldn't wait for her to cut my hair again. I was pretty bummed when she moved away. I made an appointment with her at Salon LG and ended up not only getting my hair trimmed but I also colored it! This may seem standard, but I have virgin hair and skeptical of up keep. Shelley is amazing.  She is the ONLY person I would have do my extensions and she is a master color artist as well  She has done tons of color corrections for walk ins and new clients that had a bad experience elsewhere and she also works with recovering chemo patients to help them feel better about their hair as it is growing back in.  Just good people!  Ive been going to Shelley at least 10 years and followed her through two moves.  I would follow again! I met Krystyna and always admired her beautiful long and full hair until I finally told her and she replied I could have the same long hair via hair extensions. I could not believe it wasn't her real hair. Thrilled that I went ahead and did it. It's not an inexpensive indulgence but the hair may last up to one year. The extensions are taped, nice and flat, people who compliment me never guess it's not all my real hair. I also get my roots touched up by Krystyna without any bleach, nobody has ever been able to give me this shiny sparkly blond root touch up by just lifting my natural color.It's only 20min drive up North from SD downtown, 20min well spend to get this excellent care.There are also a ton of other stores around to run errands and no hassle parking like downtown San Diego. I came to Salon LG by recommendation from a good friend, who raved about Shelly's amazing skill and sweet personality. I arrived with a complicated hair extension situation leftover from a different salon, and was hoping Shelly could help. The salon was clean and bright, and VERY friendly. Before doing anything to my hair, I had a nice consultation with Shelly so she could understand my expectations, and also asked me questions about my habits so that she could create a game plan for the best results.My options were clearly explained to me so that I had realistic expectations, as well as pros and cons to different types of extensions. At this time, I booked my appointment, and Shelly even took her time and graciously fixed a couple things I had going on with my hair (at no charge) to last me until I could come in and spend ample time with her at my first appointment.. Very nice!*fast forward*I have now been with Shelly (and Leigha) for almost a year, and could not be happier! She pays so much attention to keeping my hair not only looking fabulous (I get compliments everywhere I go!), but also makes sure that my hair is healthy and strong. I just moved here from the Chicago area and needed a new salon but had no idea where to go.  I looked on here for reviews and contacted Salon LG.  I emailed them and they quickly responded through email and also so friendly and helpful.  I made an appointment for color and a hair extension consultation and she was able to get me in quickly and work around my schedule.  Love how Shelly responds quickly and also the email appointment reminder! I also inquired about a product my old salon used, Shelly looked into it and had it for my appointment which was only a few days away.  I was greeted with two friendly smiles and a nice atmosphere.  Ive had my hair a very light blonde for years and my old salon had many issues with the right blonde (sometimes it was too ashy, other times too gold and I just wanted that pretty light beachy blonde).  Salon LG got it spot on! I'm just your average gal, but because of Salon LG, I now have movie star hair. I am so happy with my halo extensions. I went in to get them layered since they were a little heavy for me, and when I left, I had the most gorgeous curls and shiny natural looking long flowing hair! So Leigha is AMAZING!!! She was able to fix what a different salon had messed up and seriously worked wonders on my hair!  I needed to get in last minute (and literally a few days before Christmas) to get my extensions done for my husbands homecoming from deployment . She got me in no problem and was so incredibly sweet!! I get so many compliments on how natural my hair looks and strangers ask me how I got my hair so long ;) So obviously she's doing something right when my very short natural hair can blend so well with my new long, beautiful hair!! I have been coming to Shelly since she became a licensed stylist. She always knows exactly what my hair needs and is a very insightful and talented colorist. I absolutely love my hair color and cut every time I walk out of the Salon. My color always lasts and I get incredible compliments on my hair. Came in for a haircut and to get my extensions cut. The shop is cute and well styled. The two ladies working at the time were super nice and very knowledgable! They gave me an amazing shampoo/conditioner with a scalp massage that was much needed to relax. After a good blow dry, trim of the dead ends, and added layers I was back to beautiful hair! They gave me advice on my extensions and showed me how to blend them with my hair. I left the salon with fresh hair, some new beauty tips, and some fruity smelling dry shampoo! I've been going to Shelly for 2 years now and couldn't imagine going to another salon. Everyone at the salon is amazing! ! I started with this HORRIBLE box color black hair and she was able to bring me back to my roots as a blonde.... Not and orangey or pale blonde. A beautiful golden blonde. She has been doing my extensions and handling my halo extensions for two years. My hair is never damaged and I can see my natural hair getting stronger and healthier since I don't have to damage it so get volume anymore. Prior to seeing Leigha at salon Lg, I hadn't gotten a hair cut in almost a year. Leigha transformed my one length boring long hair into light long layers that now holds curls. Leigha at salon lg is the best! I've been going to Leigha since January for my tape in extensions after having a bad experience with the beads at another salon.
