We called many engineering firms, terrible communication. We found MSCS, Dominque and Tommy were wonderful. We had some existing plans that needed revised to get a permit, that saved us a ton of money by using the plans we had and jus revised them instead of telling us we needed a whole new set of plans ( which 3 other firms told us ) , they revised them, stamps, they went to the permit building for us at no charge! We then schedule there contractors and the job was done half the price of other firms I would say and on time but most of all always called us back with all questions and with educated answers explained in simple terms i highly recommend! I love MSCS Engineering and the team headed by Mr. John Cruz. I bought an expensive 12'x14' wood gazebo with an aluminum roof at Costco. It comes in the form of a kit that requires extensive assembly. My homeowners association required me to obtain a building permit issued by the city. The city's inspections department required the gazebo drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions to be reviewed and stamped by a professional engineer (PE) prior to issuing a permit. That is where John Cruz and MSCS Engineering comes in. Because I have a degree in civil engineering, I am familiar with the extensive qualifications and licenses required to be a PE. In trying to locate a local PE in Palm Beach county, Florida, I turned to the internet. MSCS Engineering has the best, most comprehensive, easy to navigate website of all the dozen or so engineering firm websites that I looked at. What caught my attention on the MSCS Engineering website was the statement that "...... no job is too small or too big." My job was extremely small. Multiple firms thought my job was too small to be interested in or didn't even bother to call me back. I contacted Mr. John Cruz at MSCS Engineering and he immediately understood what I needed to have done by his company. We agreed on a price for the project and it was in line with what I anticipated. I provided the gazebo's instructions, drawings, and specifications and within two weeks my gazebo was provided with a PE stamp (approval). Met the owner of MSCS in the gym. My home was in disarry since Hurricane Irma and like so many other homeowners it was a struggle and scavenger hunt to find a decent contractor who took my home seriously with so many homes needing repair.
MSCS look at the work a previous contractor did and destroyed my home even more, then came in demolished and dried in the roof in two days, somehow found tile that I actually liked and my HOA approved of and is having it delivered in two weeks instead of 8-10 which is what most contractors and homeowners are running into with the shortage in roof tiles.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
There are several factors to take into consideration. The main being size, building materials, and the Elevation
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
The first stage is to make sure the floor is above the water level during rain. The materials the garage is constructed from determine whether it is suitable for inhabitants. In some cases it is necessary to add elements such as insulation.
The next stage is to design the space according to certain factors such as size, water/plumbing and electrical power.
Third stage is to obtain permits from the regulating authorities.
Then we're ready to build.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Lofts can be fun yet tricky. The first consideration with a loft is safety. The next consideration is the space/purpose ratio. A loft can be fantastic from a reading nook to an extra bedroom.
