Laura is an amazing massage therapist who has helped me avoid surgery for years. I have been seeing her for neck and upper back pain that I had been chasing for years. I had been to several doctors who to put me on pain meds and wanted to do surgery for the bulging discs in my neck. For me, I wanted to go a more conservative route, with surgery being the very last attempt to fixing my neck/back pain.  During my first visit with Laura, she listened carefully as I described my pain and other issues and formulated a treatment plan for me and she has also been able to build upon the work of my physical therapist.  I can honestly say that in the years I have been seeing her, she has helped to greatly reduce the pain and stiffness in my neck and upper back and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Laura! More...

I have been seeing Laura for several years. Trigger point therapy had been recommended to me by several people for a sciata type of pain down one leg but they also warned it would be extremely painful. I found Laura via Yelp but I was so nervous I almost cancelled our first appointment but when I told her about this she looked horrified and explained that she believed causing pain to be counter-productive. For the first time in about 6 months I was on the road to recovery. Because of my stressful desk job I see her once per week for "maintenance" and flare ups of shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, and TMJ symptoms. She is so intuitive about locating the source of the pain I describe and such a sweet delightful person I look forward to seeing her ever week. I don't know much about Reiki but I love Laura so much I would consider trying it! More...

I contacted Laura after 3 months of pretty severe pain in shoulder and mid back. I had a feeling it was trigger points, and I knew I needed a masseuse who specialized in Trigger Point Therapy to help me. I have now had three appointments with her. After the first appointment, I felt 70% better. Now, after the third, I am 90% better. She is professional, her office is clean and inviting, and her rates are very reasonable. I have paid much more for much less effective massages over the years! She quickly found my troublesome trigger points, and gently yet firmly began to work on them. I felt better THE SAME DAY!I am a pretty active middle ager with many aches and pains. I have dreamt of meeting a real masseuse who can help me to manage my musculoskeletal pain over the long term. If you have muscular pain and are looking for a serious, effective  practitioner, look no further. More...

Laura is an exceptional masseuse! Her knowledge of human anatomy is exceptional. Most masseuse will spend most of the time on the area where the client has reported pain or discomfort. However, Laura looks at the body as one complete unit and thus, will treat adjoining areas that may be the cause of or contributing to the pain and.or discomfort. More...

I have been going to Laura for the last year for a frozen shoulder condition.  She has been an amazing therapist and has made it possible for me to function and continue daily activities. I always leave feeling so much better and it has helped decrease the pain tremendously since this is a chronic condition. So many people don't know about trigger point therapy and there are very few who do this. She is one of the best. More...

This massage therapist is the best.  After months of discomfort and increasing reduction of mobility in my neck and shoulders, Laura Sadler was able,to help me after the first session.  I am now able to do such actions as turn my head see over my shoulder when driving and lift my arms to blow my hair dry.  The pain is nearly completely gone. When I had a brief flare-up, Laura eliminated it with one visit.   She was able to help me far more successfully than a physical therapist whom I saw for twelve visits!!  I am not a massage connoisseur, but Laura is very skilled and knowledgable.  Her trigger-point massage immediately began to release the painful areas and she gave me strategies to help at home.  I highly recommend her. I went to Laura to help with shoulder and neck pain. I am very particular about massages, and skeptical about massage helping with injuries. But her massage not only helped with my neck and shoulder pain, but also helped with back pain and overall stress. It wasn't so much a massage as a focused muscle treatment. Now she's working with me on a knee injury, and it's an effective and essential tool in helping me train for running again after a long time our of the game.I'm not into the spiritual side of the massage, so we don't do the reiki or energy healing, and she's fine with that. She's willing to go either way. So she focuses on the physiology and body mechanics that I'm comfortable with when she works on my shoulders, neck, or knee. She's also very good at listening to me when it hurts or I could use a little more pressure.I wouldn't categorize this as a "relaxing" massage like the kind that one would get at a spa. But I come away every time feeling like my muscles are healing and with far less pain. If you have a sports injury, or any kind of muscle or joint pain, I highly recommend Laura's massage. More...

Laura is more than a masseuse, she is a gifted healer. She is intuitive and always pays attention to what is going on what my body then knows how to coax it back into balance. I have had many, many massages around the world and Laura is by far the best therapist I have encountered. She is skilled in trigger point release, atheltic injuries, etc. Consider her a sort of physical therapist and masseuse all in one. Book ahead because she fills up fast. More...

Resolved major pain issues in my arm.  And my back. Works on my mother-in-law's shoulder. And my wife's back issues. By far the best therapeutic massage I've ever had. I now buy blocks of 5 massages that I can use on an as-needed basis to deal with pain and repetitive stress injuries from computer work. Highly recommended, and I'm thrilled she moved to Burbank! Much closer to home, but she was worth the long drive before. More...

Finally found someone experienced!! I was having problems sitting down, couldn't tolerate even 2 min, i spent most of my day in bed for a few months, luckily found Laura, who had an idea of how to treat this injury (piriformis muscle syndrome). .. you'd be surprised how many people were like, " what's that !!" session after session my tolerance level for sitting went higher and higher, i just saw my first movie in a theatre in 7 months!! WOOT! thanks Lauraoh and shes very kind & sweet. in my life i've seen about 10 different massage therapist, i finally realized i had never really gotten a REAL massage until i saw Laura. She works on the problem areas, her hands are magic, she will find every single knot and problem area without saying a word to her. my first phone conv with her she told me to expect to go home after the masasge with some "homework" she will give me. she guided me on what i can do at home myself to speed up my healing process. i'm forever grateful More...

Laura is a gifted healer!  I had a problem injury to my arm and shoulder that would not go away until I saw Laura.  She did amazing "trigger point" therapy and massage and I am finally back to normal after months of pain and impaired movement.  Before finding Massage Spirit, I did physical therapy, chiropractic and general massage.  That all helped, but it was the work with Laura that healed!  She is great to work with too. I had been looking for a massage therapist to help me with a specific foot issue, plantar fasciitis, but I had not idea on how to go about finding a truly qualified person. A fellow friend recommend Laura Sadler after some research and judging from Laura's website, she seemed to fit the bill. I have to say, hands down, she is amazing! She truly understands the human anatomy and how to deal with the root cause of the issue. She's been great at giving me advice on exercises I should do so I can heal faster. To be honest, I'm the bad student who doesn't do my home stretches. Maybe it's because I want to keep coming back to her. For the holidays, she even went out of her way to bake me cookies. :) She's a master at what she does and she's super nice. I highly recommend her. More...

By far the best masseuse I've been to in LA.  I really can't recommend her enough.  When I got to other masseuses I feel like they only skim the surface.  Laura gets deep in the muscle, making it relaxed throughout the entire muscle, rather than just the top layers.  My neck, shoulder, and back are always stiff, but whenever I leave I feel like I can move easier and breathe easier.  Something about her massages "open" me up, and I leave feeling great.  I highly highly recommend her. Laura is by far the best massuse I've found after an 8 year search in LA--I like a deep tissue, get in there and work it out kind of massage and she does just that. I'm sure if you wanted a loose rub shed cater to your needs too. She's also very keen/intuitive and always finds the exact area(s) that needs some work.I highly recommend her, and shes sweet as can be too, which always makes for an overall great experience. I found Laura Sadler with Massage Spirit last year when I was trying to find someone to give me a Reiki Session. I've had a couple of Reiki sessions with her and she has some of the strongest, warmest energy I've ever felt from a Reiki Master. I've had a lot of Reiki sessions with other people and Laura's energy is by far the most "effective" that I've encountered.Since discovering Laura for Reiki, and learning that she is also a Massage Therapist, I've since had several massages with her. She is equally as excellent at massage as she is at Reiki. She is absolutely a pro at what she does and she is very quick to identify where your problem areas are and what work needs to be done to "work them out".Laura is extremely professional and she will make you feel 100% comfortable. She is an incredibly warm, caring person who gives off excellent, positive energy, so it makes the massage/reiki experience with her all around wonderful.I am making Laura a regular appointment on my calendar and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a friendly, professional and experienced Massage Therapist or Reiki Master. Q&As

I really get the most satisfaction from my job when my client tells me that they are out of pain. I pride myself on trying to find the root cause of my clients' pain or discomfort and coming up with a treatment plan that goes beyond the work I do on them on my table. When I see the results of the work my client and I do as a team, I really couldn't be happier.

I was inspired to start my own business because I had suffered through several injuries and experienced chronic pain in my own life. I often had to figure out how to get out of pain on my own. Eventually I felt that I not only had the knowledge of how to manage pain, but I wanted to share that with others so I changed careers and became a massage therapist.

Because I've been through injuries, chronic pain and even surgery, I know what people are going through physically and emotionally when they are in pain. This set me apart and allows me to be a better guide to my clients than the average therapist.

Services

Focuses on the knots and release of the 'hot spots' that cause pain.

Focus is on lengthening muscles and releasing tight areas using cross fiber massage.

Focus is to finesse into the belly of the muscle to release tight areas. This is always combined with Trigger Point therapy as part of a treatment program to relieve pain.
