From day one, Steven was our contact and has been nothing short of fantastic. We were palnning our wedding from the west coast and we skyped with him. He answered all of our questions and customized a package for us which was what we were really looking to do. When we came into town, we met him at a wedding expo, along with some of the Magical Memories team. Vinny and Ryan are a riot and so talented!!!! Groom: MME was easy to work with, showed up early and on time, and the operator provided cool props and instructions for our wedding guests. We had a good time with MME and would not hesitate to use them again.

The 5 year old kids loved the magic show!  The magician showed up on time and even did a little extra time for balloon twisting.  I would highly recommend.  My only suggestion is that the company/magician give some kind of confirmation call/message for anticipated arrival time on the day of event.  They showed up about 10 minutes prior to the event which was enough time for the magician, but it was stressful not knowing when or if they would show up. So in the past some of you may have seen that I gave Magical Memories a 1 Star and well, that was me just being a little immature and rude. I used to work for this company and it was a fun time. Due to me and Steven sometimes not always seeing eye to eye I parted ways, but the company remains top notch. Kara and Steve are great friends and excellent business people. We used MME for our wedding a couple of weeks ago.The good:Dealing with Kara to book everything was great, and what interaction I did have with Steven was great. Steven and the MC (sorry, can't remember his name, but...man bun) he brought, I have to say, did a really great job with a sort of unique situation. My husband had hired one of my favorite bands to play a short set at the reception, but they're not a wedding band, so they did about 45 minutes, including our first dance. The MC and Steven helped make this so seamless, and even worked out how to announce our parents and wedding party and us while the band vamped for our entrance into the reception. Honestly, I kind of dropped the ball with making sure this was prepped before the wedding, so they figured it out on the fly, which was impressive and we were so grateful.They were really just what I wanted for the rest of the night, too, keeping the party going without being cheesy or over the top. Just the right amount of crowd interaction. The bad:So, I'm a control freak when it comes to music. What I really needed in hiring someone was an MC and sound system and someone who knew the timing of a wedding (which they expertly did), because I wanted to make the entire playlist. I sent Steven my list ahead of time, and it had more songs than could have possibly been played all night--they were doing our ceremony and cocktail hour, too. I categorized the list so they could easily pull from my music for cocktail hour and dinner choices, a.k.a., the songs that didn't need to have people dancing. Again, I had SO many song choices on there, so you can imagine my surprise when I heard several songs two and even *three* times between cocktail hour and dinner. I can't imagine what happened there. They had so many choices! While I know I gave them too many to fit into that time frame, I was still disappointed to not hear so many of the songs on my list, because they instead oddly chose to repeat songs instead. If it's a case of having them in their library...well, I just don't know about that because they had the list ahead of time. Some people noticed they were replaying songs and it was just like...why? Wow - awesome magician/company. I wasn't sure how a magician would do with our group, but He exceed expectations! Adults and kids were both entertained and we were all impressed with the one on one interaction with the balloon animal making. We took lots of pictures and have realized how much fun the kids were having based on their faces! They were so dialed in haha.Kara/the office was awesome from answering questions and booking, to confirming and following up. I'm going to ask them to come back for our January party too!
