This was one of the few places open for a late lunch. We ordered paneer tikka masala, naan, chicken biryani and samosa chat. The chat had too any onions, else it was really good. My friends really liked their biryani. The paneer tikka masala was good too. Adequate amount of spice! Their portions are good sized so order carefully! The samosa chat was enough for me and my friend. More...

I'm a North Indian guy, so I believe I have the capability to judge this cuisine. The food was very well cooked and very tasty. It tastes similar to authentic Indian cuisine. Nice customer service, quality (Cooked in Desi Ghee aka clarified butter) and portion size. If you're in a Baltimore area, it's a must recommend Indian restaurant. More...

Best indian food I've had in Baltimore (aside from the late, great Mughal Gardens, that is). Upon reading reviews, all I can say is that I personally have not yet had a bad experience here. They are especially good about spicing the dish to your preferences. There appetizers are fantastic as well. More...

Very decent indian food. Huge portions. I wanted to meet a friend who lives close by and we ended up here. I ordered Chana Masala (which came with a lot of rice) and she ordered some chicken dish, we also ordered one naan (which was enough for the two of us). The hospitality staff was incredible and the food tasted good. More...

Great food! We ate off the buffet. It seems like a one man operation here, at least on dec 30th, which explains why every dish on the buffet wasn’t full, but who cares! If you’re coming for “atmosphere” and a “food scene” this isn’t the place for you, but if you want real deal Indian at a low price, than eat here! Naan made fresh and fantastically well. Sure, the building is old and the bathrooms are “spick and span” but so what! You came here for the food. More...

Outstanding flavor and selection in the buffet. My only critique was the food had obviously been out for awhile, in other words "not freshly cooked"; however, it was still wonderful. If I could deduct half a star I would, so in this case it's 5 stars. More...

Little India is in Little Italy and the only non-Italian restaurant in Baltimore's Little Italy. Because of this, you assume it isn't good, but mark my words- Little India is some of the best Indian food on the East Coast. It's a small restaurant, but they do have two areas of table. They have a buffet, but if you like butter chicken, just order that. My wife and I got two servings of butter chicken (the sauce is so creamy), jasmine rice, mango chutney, and naan. We did takeover and it took twenty minutes (explore Little Italy as you wait). The portions are healthy and you can stretch the butter chicken to dinner and lunch! More...

I like delivering Grub Hub orders from here at Little India. He's Five Star Fast. I see he has a buffet going on and I'm one the road. I'd like to invite some of the taste-testers to give their take on the food. He's prompt. Appears he has a buffet set up at times. Right in Little India on Aliceanna St. Stop in and rub Bhudda's belly or have it brought to you with Grub Hub. More...

This little joint is a gem. There's not a huge crowd but there's a huge flavor in their food! The lunch buffet is well rounded, offering 4 meat dishes, an appetizer, two rice, 4 veg, and dessert. My fave is the channa saag. It combines the awesome flavors of two of my fave dishes in one! The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, the naan is tasty, the chai is legit fresh made when u order... I could go on for days. I love this place and so should u. More...

If you like spicy or hot food you must make sure to ask for it though else you might just get the regular mild flavor which is too weak. Reasonable prices: Not too high but definitely not on the lower side. Plus punt is that portion sizes are good so one main dish combo is good for two people. Good feels well made. Watch out for the dahi in the raita though, could be sour. If so, ask for a change. Biggest plus is byob. So it is actually a good place to hang out for a few friends with beers for the chakna. Normal filmy love songs for music though. (The decor is not the romantic type so forget it) More...

Lunch Buffet was a good value. Interesting dishes, especially vegetable oriented ones. Convenient to the inner harbor. Friendly people. The "traditional" chicken dishes had a different flavor that was interesting. Definitely worth the short walk from the edge of the Inner Harbor. They make the Nan fresh (Garlic and Plain) and bring it to the table. This is currently my sign for an excellent Indian Buffet. More...

My first Indian food experience in Baltimore. The. Best. Home-cooked. Taste. Ever. Period. I grew up in India and moved to the US about 10 years ago. This restaurant has cooking the closest to home cooking that I've seen anywhere (even compared to restaurants back home...). Really great taste. The ambiance adds to the authentic experience. Hehe, once you step inside, there is no indication that you are in the US anymore (except for Dr. Oz on the TV). Everything (even the ceiling tiles and tacky art on the walls) seems to transport you back to a dhaba/restaurant in Punjab. On the upside, the food also transports you to that very same dhaba in Punjab. Very very good. Looking forward to eating good Indian food here many times to come.Caveat: First visit. Only tried vegetarian Samosa and Eggplant. Do not know about the rest of the menu (yet...). More...

Great food! The restaurant is a bit outdated and feels a bit tacky. When we first went in at about 6:30 pm we were the only people in there and we were a bit skeptikal. We went a ahead and ordered a bottle of wine for only $20 which was surprisingly good. We than proceed to order some Meat and Vegetable Samosas. Both offering were very good. You get one per order but they are very large so we should have ordered just one to share for two people. There were four of us and we ordered vindaloo, tiki masala, shahi paneer, and butter chicken as well as naan. Everything was very well seasoned and tasted absolutely delicious. They do cater to Americans and allow you to specify wether you want your curry mild, medium or hot. at the end of my meal I had a chai tea which was a perfect ending to my meal! P.S. By the time we left a couple of hours later (we lingered) the restautrant was full of other customers. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and will return myself. More...
