I especially appreciated that upon noticing that we only needed two GFCI's in our kitchen (instead of the 3 we had anticipated), he adjusted our quote to match, instead of just putting all 3 in and charging us for the extra one, as we would have been none the wiser. Very pleased with the job Joe did on the repairs we needed done. He was  very friendly, professional and timely. He left the work areas spotless. I love that I do not have to look at the ugly faux tile above my shower anymore and can enjoy my beautiful subway tile. What a difference! I contacted Joe to replace some crown molding in my living room. He was really great - he was very flexible schedule-wise, and he did an absolutely amazing job. Often people take short-cuts with crown molding and attach smaller sections so that it's easier for them. This maximizes the chance that the sections will get out of alignment, and it creates more seams. Joe was very careful to cut the sections so that they stretched the length of each wall, with as few seams as possible. When he was done, he vacuumed up absolutely everything, even reaching underneath the radiators to make sure all dust was taken care of. He worked carefully but quickly and even checked to see if noise he was about to make was going to disturb my work phone calls. I strongly recommend him. More...

Joe was awesome! We had some issues with the drain plumbing under our kitchen sink. Even tho we are a little bit out of Joe's normal area, he agreed to come do the work. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He replaced all of the drain plumbing and the bottom board of the undersink cabinet, plus found a few other issues down there and fixed them as well, all within the original estimate he gave us. We have a full bathroom remodel in the future and we will definitely contact Joe first when we are ready to pull the trigger on it. Although I had removed and replaced two garbage disposals under my sink the past few years, I hurt my back and thought it best to have someone else do the job.  I contacted Joe based upon the positive Yelp reviews. (Something which has not always turned out to be the best option...)  But in this instance, Joe quoted me a fair price for the disposal, the removal, and the installation.  Joe called before he showed up for his appointment and, showed up early!  How rare is that...?  He was presentable, respectful, and did an excellent job of removing and repairing my garbage disposal in a timely manner. I can not say enough about Joe.  He is very punctual which is a rarity these days.  I contacted him over Yelp and he got back to me within an hr or so.  He arranged to come and see what repairs I needed and did not charge me for an estimate.  He quoted me a price and when the work actually turned out to not take so long - he adjusted his quote without me even asking. Really impressed with Joe and Lincoln Home services. He came to the house to give me a free quote beforehand, quoted a very reasonable price and set a date. I got in touch with Joe about a fence repair.  I have a very old cedar fence, and part of it blew down in the recent wind storm.  He gave me a quote over the phone, set up a date and time to meet, confirmed the day before, and showed up on time.He was pleasant and friendly, he worked quickly, he was respectful of my space, and he got the job done more quickly than he thought he would.  Because it was a quick repair for him, he took $100 off the quoted price!  He then took the time to talk with me about how much a new fence would cost and what materials could be used.  My last question for him was about a gate that had come loose.  I asked for an estimate, hoping to set up an appointment at a later date.  Instead, he fixed the gate right there for no extra cost.Joe is wonderful to work with, and I will be calling him for other work around the house as needed.As a side note, my corgi would rate him 12/10.  They made friends. I got in contact with Joe because I needed a new fence installed and not only did he give me a fair price, but Joe and his crew were able to come out about a week and a half after I had contacted him when every other fence company wanted to schedule me out a month to two months.    I had asked Joe if he could put in a dog run for my wife and I since we have three dogs and he said it would be no problem.    Joe and his crew were friendly and hard working, they got it all done in less than 3 days and always made sure to clean everything up at the end of each day.     I can't say enough great things about Joe and his crew and will definitely use him whenever I need some more work done. Great service! We had a list of things we needed done around the house, and frankly we just aren't very handy. Its been surprisingly stressful to have a list of small repairs just grow around the house and we needed someone versatile who could problem solve some things. Joe came out and did an estimate for several small projects that needed to be done. He did a great job communicating what we needed, even suggested we handle one of the items ourselves if we felt up to it. In the end, Joe did some caulking in our tub, replaced several light fixtures (including picking new ones out), some patching to our ceiling where he removed some inset lighting, some rewiring for a switch, removed a stump in the yard, and drilled through our wall to install an outdoor electric outlet. I bought a 135 year-old house two months ago and Joe has been to my house just about every Friday since then. He is very responsive, flexible on scheduling, and as a first-time homeowner an awesome resource for advice.
