The flavor of the bread makes things so much better
I ordered about a dozen kolaches delivered to my son in Glendale. They arrived on time, and my son said they are delicious. They ran out of the apple so subbed in cinnamon rolls, which is fine with me. Good service, good kolaches. A little pricey, as some have said, but kolaches are in a totally different class from other baked goods, IMO, so you can't expect them to be as cheap as donuts. It's more like getting Cinnabons, a special treat that you expect to pay more for. More...
The American Redhead
This was the staple lunch spot for me when I was in high school. The location is great and convenient for the high schoolers at LHS. The food itself is usually good although there are occasionally batches of certain flavors that fall short of the usual quality. The prices are high but then again you can order 2 or 3 and be set for breakfast, or order a whole box and be set for the entire day even. I would definitely recommend Kolache House Bakery to other people, at the very least just to try out and see how they like it. More...
Wow...just Wow...Best ever
I come up to this wonderful place all the way from Pueblo . The food is ALWAYS amazing. I finally met the owner. Raza is a wonderful lady. It shows thru her pastries, delicious Kolaches and her employees.!! Thank you and I will be visiting their new location.!!! More...
We went out our way to visit and well worth the drive. I will crave the deliciousness. And the customer service was spot on. Thanks for the great experience.
Damn first time ever trying this place out !I really enjoyed the cream cheese jalapeno bacon kolache ! The breakfast ones are so tasty. . price seemed a bit steep at $4 each but they were very tasty More...
Friendly service, delicious pastries. Wish I had known about this place sooner! The bread is just slightly sweet which pairs well with both their sweet and savory options for filling. Plenty of good vegetarian buns as well. Give them a try for breakfast! More...
Thought meat Kolaches werent a thing in the north. So happy to find this place. The sausage and cheese is my go to. Always good the desert ones are bomb too. That sweat dough is mmmmmmm
Impressive pastries! Wonderful!
I only gave them 4 out of 5 because the price is a little much for Kolache's but I am from the Chicago suburbs and my boyfriend from Dallas so we are used to different pricing. Some of them are also a little dry, BUT the Sausage and gravy one is THE BEST and if you happen to get there when they come fresh from the oven, they will make your day no matter the time you purchase them. Only rating 4 stars because Kolache house doesn't accept tap to pay/Google pay. Otherwise never had a bad experience! Always fantastic food & atmosphere! Update your card readers & you'll get a 5 star! More...
Great, clean inviting space. Super friendly staff. Affordable delicious kolaches in a variety of options. I’ve missed kolaches so much since I lived in Texas for a small while and these hit the spot.
Fantastic kolaches! Sweet, savory, spicy, you name it. The fresh baked bread is incredible!
The savory Kolaches are our favorite The Filled croissants are exceptional ta boot
Good food, nice help.
I love Kolaches and this is the only Kolaches place in Denver I know of so it's my go to. Being from Houston my only issue is they're aware they're the only Kolache place in Denver and charge accordingly. In Houston there's a lot of competition so the prices are much better. Still 4 stars because the foods what I expect but I just wish it was better priced. More...
Service was wonderful! The fruit bun I had was on the bland, over sweet side.
So yummy and unique.
First timer today. Awesome unique pastries, filled with various things, chorizo, steak, ham, egg, etc. Sooo good.
Loved it. All the kolaches we got were wonderfully fresh and tasty. Loved the biscuits and gravy and southwest especially.
If you've never had a Kolache you ate certainly missing out
The folks that work here are really sweet!
Good food. Make sure to go in the morning when they have a bigger selection ready to go.
This place is awesome. The variety of stuffed pastry is great. The flavor, Wow.
Great food and definitely quality! But I waited on the phone for over 15 minutes for someone. I had a question that would have taken 2 minutes of time but she, I assume, forgot about me. Naturally I try to re call and the phone line was busy. Owner called back and made things right so I have so far re changed my review. Not a full 5 just because of the call but I really do appreciate the owner going out of their way to apologize. More...
This place rocks. Best assortment of kolaches I've ever seen. Service was fast and friendly. Coffee was not their strong suit but there's a Starbucks next door.
Kolatche house bakery is awesome...lots of different kolatche sweet and savory!.

Excellent food and staff.
Get place that we found. The food was delicious and the store owner was very friendly. Store needs to have instructions to be sure to warm up the pastry slightly before you eat it. The pastry melts in our mouth. Thanks again . Travelers from Washington State. More...
I love this place!
Overpriced and really slow, but kind of addicting. Just imagine little pockets of sweet dough filled with salty or sweet things. My favorites are the sausage and cheese (simple and delicious), the Philly, and the pepperoni pizza... but any one is delicious! $2.98 per kolache, though, and you’ll want at least two or three, is pricey. Love this place!

Soo good! Tastes homemade, A little pricey but that’s expected.Friendly staff and good coffee.
5 stars due to their customer service and great attitudes. As a first time customer, I had a large order and I think I confused them as when I got home, I was missing a few. Called them up, confirmed I was missing 3 kolaches, and they offered to refund or just have me come grab the missing ones. The staff and manager (I think Robin?) made it right and even added a few extra for the trouble, and I'm not so petty (as some of the other reviewers for this place) as to make a huge deal out of some meaty dough balls. The kolaches are priced fairly, make great little morning treats, and like I said, their staff just does what they are supposed to do when something goes wrong. Mistakes happen, but it is nice when they are addressed appropriately. Thank you Kolache House Bakery! More...
The cinnamon roll was freaking huge!I cut it into 3 pieces to share! So soft and delicious.Excellent. The young lady at the counter was very patient with my indecisive 4 year old. The actual Kolache was kinda... meh. But I will totally go back for another one of those cinnamon rolls! More...
I absolutely love Kolache House Bakery. Kolaches are delicious buns filled with any one of a dozen different fillings. My favorites are any of the egg and cheese combinations, the pepperoni, or spinach. They keep well, so I usually pick up a dozen or so for us to eat through the week when I can make it down there. I love how portable they are too, so they're great for grab and go. The staff is pleasant and the prices are decent, with 3.5 being on the higher end for a roll, and one or two make a plenty satisfying meal. Honestly my only real complaints are that the parking lot is very small, and the kolaches all look almost identical, which can make it difficult to decipher which is which if you have a variety. I will definitely come back here again and again. More...
Super delicious I am in love with the southwest croissant, I just bought two haha. Hits the spot if you're a green chile enthusiast. Little bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Love the variety of kolaches they offer. Haven't tried the turnovers yet because we mainly get breakfast here but I bet they're dank! More...
Great food a little pricey for item but delicious. If cheaper if only buy more
Good, but always out of the good stuff
New to Kolaches, definitely a must try. Lady behind the counter was nice, and the coffee was hot.
Idk pretty dank would eat again 8/10
Justine is such a great girl and makes my kolache experience more than incredible everytime. Kolaches are so simple and yummy it's such an awesome addition to have awesome customer service
They used to get these for those of us stuck working OT on the weekend in ATX. They're amazing if you've never tried. Started picking up from this place for my work here in Denver and it's been a hit
Love the Kolache. I recommend the pulled pork, but my son likes the pepperoni.
Fresh kolaches are heaven!! Pillowy dough and cheese, egg, chorizo is amazing! This place smells soooo good when baking!!
The kolaches are always great and the service is good as well.
This place has really good food. It is a little on the pricey side if you have a hearty appetite. There are options of Kolaches, danishes, and croissants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. More...
Love this place! We take our out of town guests here and they always request to go again when they return to visit. They are kind of addicting!
I never been to this place but my boyfriend always raves about it. Anyways reading the owner’s sarcastic responses to the negative comments here just made my day! Lol
The bakery staff is friendly, wifi is good, coffee is good, but most importantly, the kolaches melt in your mouth; so delicious! Just thinking about them is making me hungry. I will be frequenting this bakery often. Definitely worth checking out if you havent been there yet. More...
Went here when my dad was visiting from out of town. Kolaches are a family favorite and almost impossible to find. So so happy this place exists! The kolaches were really yummy and the staff was so friendly. They had a huge selection! If you like kolaches or want to try them I definitely recommend this shop! More...
Love the food. The service today was great, such a sweet & helpful manager!!
Fantastic place with great selection.
I visited for the first time this morning. The cashier was very nice. I enjoyed my bacon & cheese kolache, and I appreciate that they have fountain drinks as well as bottled options. Chocolate milk, too. I'll definitely be back to check out some of the sweet options. It's worth noting that everything has wheat, milk, and eggs. No vegan options here. More...
They could be a little quicker with the service but perhaps that's the wrong attitude to have when considering what's at stake. As far as flavor and overall quality verything's great so far. I have now tried the majority of their offerings and am pleasd to give them an A+.. More...

Always love this place. Go at least once a week. Inexpensive breakfast that is unique and amazing.
Love this place real good for
Amazing place. Everything is so good the staff the food everything! I just wish they stayed open a little later.
Amazing kolaches!! Staff is friendly, quick to get through the line at the counter. My favorite is the southwest, though really enjoy the traditional poppyseed danish. I tend to eat just one, but some people prefer to grab multiple. Always get them warmed!! More...
Great bakery! Loved the place.
Do not miss this Place in Denver where you can find some of the best Kolaches around! They have savory and sweet, gotta try the pulled pork!
Great variety and decent prices. Staff is friendly but can be a little slow.
Boss brought these in for a meeting one day and it was my first time trying them. I fell in love! I love this place and the sausage gravy kolaches are phenomenally amazing! The workers are great, kind, and friendly. The restaurant is clean and neat. More...
it's a bit expensive but worth it. Try the jalapeno poppers!

I feel like most people don't even know the existence of Kolaches but everyone who knows they exist love them. And this place specifically makes delicious food.
Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!!
I'll use any excuses to come here as often as possible
Delicious. Just wish their hours were more convenient so I could go more often. They close at 2 pm.
This place is amazing!
Veggie options available!!
Love this place. So many options, (some times they run out which is frustrating), but great value and delicious.

Tastes like I’m in Texas ❤️
The only downfall about this location or place is the fact that they close so early that's it other than that they have an extremely delicious food and I will always go back there
So glad the reopened. Always delicious.
This place has the most delicious bread stuffed rolls that I have ever ever ever had! So much flavor with every bite and the bread is so very soft, love all of the variety they have there as well.
Good food but kind of expensive.
Good kolaches, sometimes run out of flavors.
Details stay to the details of chorizo bun and egg ... love your style! ! !
Really tasty, big portions. Don't miss the peach and cream cheese turnover! Sooo good!
Great and unique food! Very fast service
Great staff, yummy coffee, and the pastries are killer!
Great service. Priced higher than others but worth the flavor.
There's is a dreadful shortage of kolaches in Denver! I'm from Texas, so this donut shop staple has been sorely missed. Kolache House Bakery is almost as good as the classic kolache I grew up on.
Kolache House Bakery is a big deal for my family. Friendly service, warm coffee and lots of options for kolaches. Only my sister's kolaches is better.
Ashleigh St. Germain
I drive all the way from Henderson which is almost an hour in traffic just to get some kolaches. I love this place! Food and staff is always great!! Wish there was more
Luckily I went when it wasn't busy. Lots of selection! The lady working there was friendly. I picked the sausage and cheese and for $2 it was good. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast so this hit the spot. More...
This place is great for a snack or more. Little overwhelming how many choices they have. Reminds me of home. Glad I found it. Staff is always nice too
I've been going here for over a year, I domt remember where I first heard about this place but one morning I drove past Discount tires in a hungry daze and discovered Kolache House. It's a simple joint with very few beverage selections but luckily they don't comment when customers bring in Starbucks from next door to enjoy alongside there delightfully and slightly sweet bread rolls stuffed with flavor! I frequently select the Bacon egg and cheese and add some hot sauce upon biting into the hot melt in your mouth sweet and savory delight. Today we ventured into the world of sweet a bit more with a sticky bun and boy was it tasty. Covered in nuts and warm. More...
Love this place! It's great for breakfast or a light lunch, and they're so convenient.
Natalie is amazing at what she does. Brings a smile to everyone's face who walks in and is super helpful. Great team, wonderful environment, awesome food!
Amazing buns! Fresh baked, high quality, service was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and it was an very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
There food is awesome. Wish there was another one centrally located but then the quality of food and service wouldn't be as excellent. Will definitely refer to family and associates. More...

If you're craving a meal wrapped in carbs, this is the place to go! The service was quick, the place was clean, and the food was delicious. Delicious! The server was great at explaining these savory balls of delicousness. Very unexpected tasty pastries. Bought several to take home. The southwestern and bacon, egg & cheese were our favorites. Philly cheesesteak was also very good. Also the sticky buns are amazing and worth trying if you're craving something sweet. More...
I am a teacher, and for the last day of school before winter break, I thought it would be nice to have a little kolache party for my classes.
Kolaches are very special in my family and many of my students here have never had one (I'm from Houston and kolache bakeries are everywhere).
I came in around 12 pm on 12/19/17 to buy 50 kolaches for the next morning, but forgot to call ahead (I know, one of the worst customers!). Despite this, the staff working the front, Sabrina and Natalie, were wonderful and so accomodating. I was allowed to purchase the remaining savory kolaches they had including the ones fresh out of the oven, and they even threw in a few extra breakfast kolaches for no charge. The two of them packaged everything neatly and labeled the boxes with which type of kolache was inside. I was so impressed with the excellent customer service!
The kolaches are fantastic, on par or better than the ones from home. My students ate every last one! We especially loved the chorizo with egg and the jalapeno poppers!
Thank you again for a great experience, and I will definitely be back! More...

If you are remotely close ...... By remotely I mean 45 mins you should not miss this place. The chicken enchilada is my favorite.
I never miss this place when I come close to the Denver area. Pardon my ignorance they may have more locations if so you should definitely find one close to you.
So amazing I would invest my money into it. More...
Delicious baked goods. Coffee is standard drip coffee would give them 5 stars if they had more options for coffee
Bread was fresh and super soft. Lots of selection. Really loved the sausage and gravy kolache.
Great food, not friendly or helpful service.
This place is awesome! Tried for the 1st time and I can say I will definitely be back to sample more of the many delicious eats!

Really good food. Had some issues with customer service and the owner personally called me to see what happened and to make things right. Not often you find someone who truly cares about their business. Thanks More...
These things are the best. We go for the breakfast ones every chance we get.
What would I do without my Kolaches?! They are absolutely friendly and I have never been met without a smile and hello. I recommended them to my work for our meeting meals, and my co-workers have like wise fallen in love with their food. I remember for the Super Bowl they let their employees off early and I went in for a small breakfast, they ended us giving me three dozen for free so nothing went to waste and so their employees could go home. That is a peoples store. More...
Came here today. Great food, tastes just like they make them in TX. I was a little astounded though when I bought just 9 of them for $25. Definitely nowhere near Texas pricing for what you get. More...
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE KOLACHES!
Good service, excellent for a grab and go breakfast. Fair price as well!
Excellent food, but the employees aren't the friendliest.
Delicious!!!! My only complaint is the price! I crave everything they have there. They run out quick of certain things because they are so good.
Clean, friendly, great food!
Andrea Joy Studzinski
I went in around 7:40 a.m. No wait. The teen working the counter was friendly, patient, and seemed knowledgeable about how things needed to go. He offered to warm my kolaches for me, and I heard him offer to the one customer ahead of me, so perhaps the issues with needing to ask for heated food mentioned in other reviews have begun to be addressed. Hard to say. I've never had a kolache before, but considering that the price for a kolache is cheaper than the food at Ye Olde Coffee Franchise next door (which I do frequent and had a caramel macchiato from them with my kolaches), I decided I'd give it a try.Tasty. The dough was sweeter than expected, but that ceased to bother me after the first couple bites. Not the best food I have ever had, but tastes more homemade than what Starbucks has to offer, and that's a plus. More...
Kolaches are awesome. They have a huge variety of types and flavors. They also have plenty of coffee offerings to choose from.
Love this place! I'm usually in there a few times a week because the food is delicious and the staff are always super friendly. And it's even right next to Starbucks so it's a handy place for both. More...
Polidori sausage and gravy Kolaches, and pecan sticky buns are the big winners here! Coffee is okay. My kids love the cinnamon rolls and milk for breakfast before school.

I absolutely love this place. The customer service was impeccable. They took my order over the phone, created a custom order with lots of variety, and then when I picked it up they labeled them all outside and inside the box. I picked up a large order for a staff meeting, and everybody raved about the quality of the food. If you need something unique, or are looking for a new breakfast idea, this is a great place to check out! More...
The sausage and gravy hit the spot
Very tasty kolache pastries but pretty expensive for the amount of food

Friendly service, great rolls-either savory or sweet. I like the egg and cheese rolls for breakfast.
Great quick meal! Friendly employees. Clean dining areas! Recommend the southwest kolache.
They have great pastries and kolache's. No gluten free options but it eas a hit with the kids.
Just can't get enough of these Czech DEELIGHTS!!
Always a friendly team, have loved them since before they have moved. I hope that they stay where they are this time.
The Kolache from Kolache House Bakery are wonderful and delicious. They are a Tuesday morning staple at my office and I don't think there is any better way to start the day off.
Great place for all sorts of fruit and meat kolaches. Try the cinnamon rolls!
Great food; but they ran out of a lot of things before I could even order them
Delicious breakfast and lunch options. The spicy sausage is a must-try. The owner is heavily involved in the community and donates quite a bit of her food and services.
These are legit. I'll be back. Hours are good, too. Drink prices are high.
We really enjoyed our ham cheese in a croissant. So yummy
Clean store, good prices, and DELICIOUS food! I'll definitely be back!
Being from Texas, I love living next to place. Kolachies are rare here. Friendly staff too!
This is good easy food and I really love coming here. However, I usually have to ask the staff to heat up my order twice, which is rather annoying. I would recommend putting a microwave or two out by the coffee station so folks can hear them to their preference. Today I had to interrupt two other orders, once to get these heated up a second time and another time because she apparently forgot that I was waiting for my food, which had cooled again. So let me heat it myself because it is starting to get old quick. More...
I arrived about 9am on a Monday and had no wait time. The selection was somewhat limited, but considering that the Denver area is a Kolache desert I will take what I can get! The pastries were sweet, soft, and delicious. The Polish sausage was a little too moist for my tastes, but it was good nonetheless. I just might make this a weekly stop. More...
Easy to find and to see from the road. A small private parking lot. It is a bright and cheerful place. Visually pleasing. It was a little loud, as they had both the television and the radio on at the same time . It can be pretty busy during rush hour. I ordered a strawberry and an apple. I got a strawberry and a lemon. I had to ask for my receipt. It was a perfectly fine place. I didn't find either the place or the food to be spectacular in any way. But there was nothing really wrong with it. More...
Too my friends there for a bit e had a great time.
Love kolaches. Go early selections may sell out.
Small, delicious rolls filled with all kinds of amazing things! Try the pizza or the steak, egg and cheese!
Yummy and local

Good, fast and inexpensive. Sometimes it's a great experience and sometimes the people behind the counter don't know what they are doing. Needed breakfast while in town for our son's graduation, found this place on Yelp, very glad I did. Awesome food, nice, fast service.
Great little find! We tried a lot (I have a hungry teenager)- cream cheese, chocolate cream cheese, sausage gravy, bacon egg and cheese and potato egg and cheese. All were delicious and cheap too.
I will start by saying I'm so glad they brought this place back. Tried it way back when it was on 1st and Wadsworth and it was great then. Huge fan of this place and my choice hands down is the Sausage and Gravy one......wow. My only complaint here would be they are overpriced in my opinion but they are O so good. Bring the prices down some !!! More...
We used to go to the Kolache Factory when it was on Wadsworth next to Starbucks. I always remember how dirty that location was and always filled with pestering flies. The move to a new location has really helped them reinvent themselves and Kolache is reborn like a phoenix better then they ever were. This location is very clean with no pestering Brundle flies and the Kolaches are made fresh and hot and have definitely improved in taste and quality be it a fruit pastry or a hot pocket breakfast Kolache of potato, egg and bacon, these definitely "hit the spot" to satisfy your morning or afternoon hunger pangs. Can't wait to go back. Kolache is back baby! More...
Wow! I stumbled on this place while passing through town. I didn't even know what these things were before stopping in. Amazing BBQ and southwest kolache. So good I came back a few days later for breakfast. Even better! Sausage/egg/cheese and the bacon/egg/cheese were awesome! Go there. Now, if possible. Parking is a little tight but worth the effort. You will love it and the staff is ultra-friendly! More...
I have to write this review for the sake of someone like me - searching for local kolaches and thinking this place was closed. They are absolutely open. Looks like they used to be a Kolache Factory franchise that broke off on their own. Similar menu and layout and super tasty kolaches. When I went in, the staff was all dressed in Broncos jerseys since it was game day. They were very attentive, polite and eager to help. I love being able to get kolaches in my neighborhood and hope this place lasts! More...

I was so happy to see that Denver has a new Kolache Factory! Friendly service and delicious treats - we'll be back!
Who doesn't love dumplings, no matter which culture they're from? If you haven't had these, they're reminiscent of Chinese "sticky buns" / steamed buns. They fill them with all manner of goodness! From savory items like beef or ham and cheese or pizza fillings, to sweet items like fruit or chocolates. They're also very well priced ... somewhere between $2 and $3 per bun usually and you could make a good meal from two to four of them. The only down-sides are that the parking lot is a little difficult to navigate as it's both tight and packed with Starbucks customers, and they also seem to be always out of a few of their items, so you either have to wait a while or choose items they've got ready. Cinnamon Rolls are so delicious!

Nice, clean restaurant with friendly staff and good food and coffee. They were out of a few kinds of kolaches and some coffee when I went in at 12:30, but I'll definitely be going back soon.
I used to eat here at the old location of 6th and Wadsworth, and I can honestly say this is the best reopening ever. They make the best variety of dumpling type bread rolls stuffed with delicious savory or sweet filings. They were my go to quick breakfast stop for two years. Plus, now the new location has way more sitting room and new flavor options for great prices! Definitely check it out. More...
Had the bacon egg and cheese and an apricot great flavor! And perfectly located next to Starbucks ;)
Everything was so delicious!! I like the wide variety - but it makes choosing just a couple much harder.
I am SO happy to have found them! LOVE their variety of great kolaches!!!
I just had their food for the first time yesterday. I have to say, IT IS SO WORTH IT. Some of the best food i have ever had. They so generously donated leftovers to my church. Great food great people. More...
The food is delicious, they get them mixed up from time to time but I can't blame them, I haven't found any I didn't like!
Amazing food, amazing service, so glad they reopened in Colorado
5 star service, food, and people.
Coworker brought breakfast kolaches to work! Absolutely yummy!!
The kolaches are enticingly addictive and incredibly scrumptious. They offer to warm or to go as well! Both of which I recommend. Very reasonably priced for the about of delicious delectable received. The staff is super friendly and seem to love what they do. Definitely a wonderful stop in Lakewood! More...
Mmmmmm how I missed the Kolache Factory! Such a great spot to grab breakfast for a work meeting or a cheap brunch on a Saturday morning. I wish some of the cheesy options were a little more flavorful, but you can't go wrong with the fruity/cream cheese options! More...
The food here is awesome. Oh so very much better than the sandwitches at the local fast food place. Don't be afraid of the word Kolache and think you won't like it. The dough around the filling is fresh and full of taste. The filling...well they have so many. Potatoes, eggs, bacon, ham, pizza, spinach...etc...so many combinations of good ingredients. And if you want something sweeter there are the ones with fruit or cream cheese filling. Far superior to a dry danish from the grocery store. Just be aware they are only open til 2pm. We stopped in and had lunch shortly before they closed and the dough still tasted fresh. The place is clean and bright and the staff was exceptional. I just wish they were closer to my home so I could go there more often. More...
We love Kolaches! Seriously, we go at least once a week. Hubby and I have our favorites that we ALWAYS get, but every once in a while we branch out. We love: sausage & gravy, bacon & cheese (with and without egg), sausage & jalapeno, Polish hot, ham & cheese, jalapeno popper, and the pizza kolaches. Everyone is nice, but they can be a little slow. I don't mind, I think they are worth the wait. More...
I was VERY sad when this place closed down a couple years ago. But when i found out that they were re-opening i was excited because first of all the food was simply delicious, the staff was nice and it was a good atmosphere so i got one about once a week. So excited this place is here! Everything they make is fresh and you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
