Seeing a loved one through an act ended illness is difficult enough, but having to take care of final arrangements and also pack up and move and clean up our rental to the landlord's stringent almost-to-the-point-of-ridiculous (color of the foil disposable covers on the gas stovetop must be black, not silver; here's the brand and part number and nearby stores that carry them on lengthy move-out checksheet) It was actually one of the hospice aides who recommended Kitsap, as they had helped a couple of other families. I'm not a slob by any means, but I wouldn't spend my few hours away from my loved one doing housework, I'd eat, sleep, shower and go back to the hospice, so while there wasn't a mess of any kind, things like vacuuming, sweeping in corners and things like that had gone a very long time. After the inspection, the landlord looked like he wanted to cry. I suspect he makes good money from docking folks who don't meet the difficult standards of his long list. I got my entire deposit back, so was able to get myself and my things back home, no problem. The cost was more than reasonable for the excellent results. The workers, I don't know if they knew about my recent loss, but they were polite and nice without being all fake cheerful, and I truly, truly appreciated that.
