We hired Jen to take photos of our family after our second child arrived. I was nervous about the photo shoot, being two weeks postpartum and managing a baby and toddler. Jen was calm and helped keep our toddler engaged and happy through the photo shoot as well as took breaks so I could breast feed and tend to the baby. Our final photos arrived quickly and surpassed our expectations! We will definitely be reaching out to Jen in the future for more family photo sessions. I will admit I hate photos of myself. Since I was a child I ran from cameras and camcorders. With that said, when I saw the results of our family photos with Jen, I was shocked! She made me look like a model! For once I could feel confident in pictures of myself. The rest of my family looked amazing too. I have several kids and she worked her magic to get all of them to look good in the photos.Since that first session two years ago, I tried to book with Jen again but I highly recommend scheduling with her early as she fills up--clearly a sign that she is outstanding. We recently did a second session with Jen and I'm anxiously awaiting her latest masterpieces. With all that said, it should be obvious that she deserves all 5 stars and maybe another bonus star for her professionalism, pre-session counseling, extremely high quality photography and relaxed personality which makes me and my family less nervous. I honestly can't speak highly enough about Jen! We booked her for a family session (myself, husband and 9 month old daughter) and the entire experience was a dream. Jen was incredibly responsive during the initial booking; she took time to talk with me prior to get a sense of our family, what we were hoping for with our photo shoot and really trying to get to know us. She was also great in providing guidance in what would be best for a baby that age as well as help with opinions on clothing options. It was clear from just our early interactions that Jen truly has a passion and joy for what she does. On the day of our photos, Jen was phenomenal. She was on time and professional and provided great guidance to us to make sure she got great shots. She is also GREAT with babies. We could not be more thrilled with how our pictures turned out. My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our maternity photo-shoot with Jennifer. We really liked her approach to photography. Jennifer took out some time to understand our personalities and knew exactly what we wanted. Throughout this process, she also had creative suggestions for us.She was patient with us and also helped us to be at ease that completely reflected in the photos.Even though she has a very busy schedule ,she is very approachable and flexible with her clients.My husband and I wanted our maternity shoot to be fun and memorable. Jen is the absolute best! I found her five years ago and she has photographed our family multiple times since. Jen began shooting us as a family of three when my daughter began taking her first steps. She was there as we were expecting our second child, she was there after we became a family of four, she was there when our son began taking his first steps, and she was there when we said goodbye to San Francisco. Jen has been part of so many life changing events and feels like part of our family. I have most pictures displayed as gallery walls and each time I see them I smile. In each session Jen was able to capture the most unbelievable moments that I will always treasure. Each member of our family felt extremely comfortable with her regardless of the setting we were in or the mood the kids were in. We also never felt rushed; she allowed us all to feel very natural with our interactions. Jen has a heart of gold and her love for photography is apparent. The photoshoot was super easy to set up and the shoot itself was incredibly quick, organized and efficient--she managed to get several different shots in a matter of minutes. Jen truly captured the love, joy, and spontaneity of our family of six. She was calm, professional, and guided me through every step of the process; booking was a breeze, she catered to our availability for session timing, she has awesome styling talents and suggested very cute outfits for all of us, and she was willing to come out to our lakeside cabin. Jen is a mother herself, so she was wonderful in keeping everyone calm during the shoot and getting my kids to relax and be natural. She had creative, fun suggestions for places and poses for the family together, and each of us individually. I never got the impression that she was rushed or impatient with us. The final photographs are stunning, and she helped me sort through them to pick the best ones, order them, and arrange them in an amazing gallery on a wall in our cabin.
