Our mission is to reach as many families as possible and save family dogs from being given away,
surrendered to shelters or being put down due to misunderstood behaviors. Our approach is simple, train a balanced state of mind, this is achievable for dogs and owners alike. We take a no nonsense approach with basic obedience and teach the dogs that we “humans” will make their decisions for them, taking the stress away from having to make every decision dramatically changes the thinking pattern of your dog. They will rely on you more as a leader and in turn be able to have a calm attitude when faced with obstacles in everyday life.

Hold'n On Dog Training Q&A

Hold'n On Dog Training Q&A

What do you love most about your job?

The ability to meet so many wonderful families who want to help their dogs have a better state of mind.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My love for our family dogs. Living on a farm with 15 dogs inspired me to want to help other families communicate better with their dogs. We are finding that too many dogs are being surrendered at an alarming rate when most unwanted behaviors can be fixed. My love for people and dogs gives me a rewarding career to do something that I am very passionate about.

Why should our clients choose you?

I like to think that we give a straight forward answer to the questions families are dealing with their dogs. A major priority is that we set the owners up for success and make sure they have a good understanding of what the dogs have been taught and how to use those tools, knowledge and techniques to move forward with a great family dog. The bottom line is that the owners need this training just as much as the dogs so that a good path of communication takes place on both sides.
