Shamim at HBC Tax and Accounting prepared and filed our 2014 tax return. We typically use TurboTax and do it on our own, but needed professional help since we bought a house and started consulting. Shamim was very responsive, professional and kind. Shamim helped us understand what documents were needed to be sure we could file correctly. He works long hours during the tax season and was available to meet in his office at our convenience. He was also available over the phone and email. Since HBC is a small business, we always worked directly with Shamim, and he was happy to spend time talking things through with us. Shamim even printed mailing labels and tax vouchers so all we had to do was send a check --we didn't even have to write our return address. Shamin answered an all I had for help filing taxes; and drove to my place in Berryville to review my issues from his office in Falls Church. I decided to hire him and agreed to an amount of payment for preparing and filing my taxes. Met him at his office a week later and we filed my taxes . He worked very fast on the bookkeeping and filing of my taxes. And was very knowledgeable of the current tax regulations.
