What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience. Let the image create itself. Then see it. Then capture it the way you see it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are we wanting to accomplish? What is the time frame involved? Where will the event take place? What is your budget?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the people I work with and the results. It is about building a relationship with my clients and getting to the goal. A happy client is my best advertising and to see their faces when they see the finished product is amazing and makes it all worth it. Hard work and having fun is the key.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been passionate about photography and to make a living doing it? Perfect. I started out in fine art photography and currently am in 3 local galleries. I have been in Prairie Edge Fine Art Gallery for 17 years and still am a good seller for them. From there, a desire to expand my business and my learning has established me as a "real" photographer covering everything from senior creations to high end real estate properties.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because sometimes you really do need or want a real photographer. You can get that person who just is getting started and is willing to do it for a lot less because they want to build their new dream. I get it and did that once myself. Experience matters and so does having fun. That is why I promote Eyefrogs as Real. Fun. Photography.
