Dog Days does a great job taking care of my puppy. We bring her here for daycare and boarding. They are very accommodating when we have last minute changes. The groomer also does a wonderful job with baths and trimming. More...

Our little Hank LOVES Dog Days! As do we! Hank knows and responds to our talk of "Dog Days" by making a bee-line to the front door and jumping up with excitement to get going! Hank has boarded at Dog Days for up to two weeks. The sight of his kennel out and by the door gets a similar enthusiastic response. While Hank doesn't do daily daycare, the staff knows and greets him lovingly with every visit. We have the utmost confidence in leaving Hank with the active, caring staff for longer vacations. We love the fact that there are so many staff working, plenty of people to receive the dogs, play, supervise and provide some lap time for the dogs - and greet and take care of our questions at the desk. Hank looks dapper and handsome thanks to Lee's great work grooming him. We are grateful to have you all as part of our doggie family!! More...

Since our Alaskan Klee Kai was a puppy, we have sent her regularly to Dog Days Grand. From this early experience, Kaya became socialized to other dogs and the kind humans at this location. Kaya is now 9 years old, and Stephanie and the crew at Dog Days have become her second family. And it is a great place for grooming too; she sheds and the play day/grooming option has been a great option. More...

They greet us by name at drop off, and give us a full report of how the day went at pick up. The staff loves dogs, and I feel so good knowing that my good friend is in such great hands. We have also used Dog Days for boarding, and the level of service/value is the best around. So happy to have found these wonderful people, and look forward to giving them our business for years to come! We are so glad we found Dog Days. The customer service they offer is excellent. On my second visit they remembered my name, my dogs name, and details about her visit. The staff is always able to provide a detailed account about how her stay went that day. They were very patient with her quirks when she first started attending; helping her build comfort in playing with other dogs which was new for her. She loves the staff. She is so worn out when she leaves that she can’t even make our short car ride home without falling asleep and even has a hangover into the next day. We’ve also used the overnight boarding service on two occasions and they did a wonderful job keeping her happy and us updated that all was well. They really have a wonderfully ran business! More...

With the Minnesota months that walks have to be on the shorter side and the dog park is an absolute mud dirt pit, there aren't many exercise outlets for my lab puppy, Mckenna, in the city. Without Dog Days, my puppy would be an absolute tyrant. Every time my dog comes back from day care, she is absolutely passed out and doesn't try to make the kitty into her chew toy.I never knew I would be willing to pay so much for silence and calm in my house. It comes out to about $18.00 for a half day and $28 for a full day. For a full day, my dog is usually tired for two days after. If you can afford it, do it. Doggy day care is worth it as it will totally change your dog's behavior for the better.I'm a bigger fan of this Capitol location rather than the Myrtle Ave as it smells a bit better and the staff is a bit more friendly. I love how the staff always remembers Mckenna and gives me a short behavior report when I pick her up. More...

I took my yellow lab Riley to the Myrtle location for months before the Capitol location opened on University.  Since I lived in Lowertown, this was a great option.  I had a great experience with BOTH locations, but I ended up taking Riley to Capitol more often due to the convenience.Overall- the staff was great- they all knew Riley and his personality (a typical, fetch-obsessed, ball-obsessed, cuddle-obsessed labrador), and gave him tons of love and attention.  They were great at keeping track of who his friends were that day, if anything unusual popped up, and were willing to play fetch with him- for who knows how long each time.  The space at capitol is laid out really well- the play areas are a little bigger/more spacious than at Myrtle.  This was great for playing fetch- at Myrtle Riley had a hard time if they had toys out- he got a bit toy-possessive.  At Capitol, with the extra space, he was much better at sharing and even taught some younger pups how to play fetch. We recently moved to Seattle, and I will say, the doggie daycares/boarding out here have not been nearly as nice.  I really miss the personal connection not only Riley had, but I had as well with everyone who took care of him.  On his birthday and on his last day before the move, the staff made him a little card with a present (treats), and expressed how much they were going to miss him. I recently moved back to Minnesota and was a bit worried on finding a decent kennel and doggy day care for my dog, Admiral Ackbar.  The dog culture in Minnesota is a bit different than in California to say the least.  I wasn't looking for anything "Beverly Hills" - but I much prefer that if my dog gets boarded, he's in an open space to run all day.  In fact, that's all I have ever done with him.  That being said, I was really happy to find Dog Days!Dog Days fits exactly that bill.  Dogs get to run around during the day and there is not extra charge for "walks" or "play time."MAYJOR Kudos for being able to fill out the two initial forms online.  In my case, since my dog has gone his whole life in environments like this (either day care or daily walks to dog parks in LA or San Jose), they waived my eval.  Otherwise, an eval is 4 hours - not sure if you have to pay or not.  (Other places in LA would do about a 15-20 min eval). This will for sure be my out of town spot for Admiral Ackbar or my daily sitter on days when I'm filming in the house and need quiet.Other tidbits:-You can bring the dog's bed-You can bring treats for them to give your dog-From what I understand, you need to bring your own dog food (not included and no option to buy)-Very friendly in giving a report of my dog's behavior when I was gone More...
