Before coming to their brick & mortar restaurant, I had only eaten from Presidio Picnic and Outside Lands from their truck. Their restaurant did not disappoint. We had an incredible barbecued carrots appetizer and little gem salad with a yummy dressing. For pizza, we opted for the Bianca and added Mushrooms which was key. Happy to have been to their sit down restaurant which was even better than their truck! More...

Amazing service, phenomenal food. Busy loud atmosphere! Great satisfying and not overly heavy meal after walking 9 miles around San Fran! The Caesar is large for one, perfect for splitting. More...

Great spot!! We were nicely greeted, there was no availability when we first arrived so the host suggested a fabulous spot at the corner to have a cocktail while we waited (amazing spot as well). Once we were notified of our table being available it was friendly and fast service. The pizza...was absolutely delicious More...

The pizza was outstanding and we took Jessica’s suggestion and are so happy we did. Outstanding. The potato pizza with sausage is a winner. Very authentic crust and cooking and the fresh ingredients make it as good as the pizza I’ve had in Italy. I would give it another star but the music is a little too loud and made it hard to talk. But an absolute must! More...

Very nice and cozy place. The sausage pizza was great and so was dessert. Thanks to the great server we had too!

Pretty decent pizza. Got a marg and the mushroom. The mushroom would be much better with truffle oil to make the classic combo complete. I usually judge a pizza by the crust and this is where DP falls a bit short. It’s too flat, not chewy enough to support the sauce and cheese. The crust is chewy and great, not over cooked. It’s unique because it’s a bit lemony. Prices are fair, service is good. More...

The pizzas are very delicious! Soft and chewy! Perfect pizza. Unfortunately the salamis are too salty for us. Still a great place where you can see the open kitchen.

Small restaurant with a rustic/modern decor. Small plates are imaginative and yummy, pizza less so. If you like a thicker crust, then you will enjoy the pizza here. I recommend making a reservation on the weekend. More...

I just had the best pizza ever! Homemade sausage pizza was killer! The crust was crispy and chewy and so delicious. The flavors absolutely melted in my mouth. The red wine was amazing! The staff and atmosphere superb. Definitely a go to place in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood. More...

Delicious pizza. Awesome atmosphere. Reasonably priced. In my four days in SF, we came back for a second dinner here on the last night. My boyfriend thought it was a little loud at the communal/bench seating, so if this bothers you too, I'd recommend requesting a private table or bar seating. So good. More...

This is an all you can eat pizza place - $45 all in (no a la carte). Menu changes from day to day. Four great appetizers from roasted carrots to salads. One person said they were the best carrots they had ever had! The main attraction though is the pizza, which is think Italian style and is also really good. The crust is super tasty and nice and thin and toppings are clearly good quality. Our fave was the salami with margherita in second. The veggie ones were a bit plain.

Overall it was a fun experience but you can only eat so much pizza and we walked away feeling it was a bit of a low value. Would be great if there was an a la carte option that would be a bit less pricey this the four s.

Exceptional wood fire grilled pizzas and tasty sides. An extensive wine list that pairs nicely with the dishes. Top notch service, intimate setting, classic San Francisco restaurant execution.

I met a friend at her recommendation. I enjoyed the interesting flavors: not your average, standard pizza, but not so out there and weird that it's just unenjoyable.

I'm told they change the menu frequently, which is nice if you like to try different things and have some variety... probably not a good thing if you fall in love with an item and want to have it again.

THE Pizza Spot in SF. If you want blistered, beautiful and bright pizza, don't go anywhere else! From my POV, there are two top pizzas in SF, these guys and Josey Baker's 'za (more NYC style, larger pie, less bubbly crust).

Del Popolo brings the whole package when it comes to excellent service, a hip but welcoming vibe and killer food across the board. The appetizers can be a smidge oily but the taste is always excellent!

Date night, treat-yo-self night, friends from out of town... you'd be hard-pressed to go wrong here.

Pretty amazing place. Loved it. The leek appetizer is incredible. Simple and limited menu, so they concentrate on doing a few dishes right. All the pizzas are wood fired with an excellent dough and fresh ingredients. The Margarita was a bit soupy but delish. Wines are pricey, and they are weirdly served chilled. The room is noisy, so I don't recommend it for a first date or an intimate eve. Great service, attentive and prompt. We loved it. More...

Great pizza. Super friendly staff. Fun vibe.

Only negative is it gets really hot in there, especially in the summer, from the oven being in the middle of the room. Cross breeze would be nice.

I LOVED it!! Highly recommend the mozzarella di buffalo!

Pros: Crust was perfect chewy goodness. Crushed tomatoes are the perfect balance of tangy and sweet.

Cons: The butternut squash appetizer was a little underwhelming as i the tempura batter was a little too thick for my tastes. Pizza was cut into 4 slices which made it a little difficult to share with large groups. Place was small and had to wait a bit to get seated.

We went here for a wedding function and it was awesome. The staff were really great and looked after the bride, groom and all of the guests.
Their pizza was delicious, I really loved the crusts, they were perfect. We also had a chicken dish which was fantastic!
Definitely recommend for a small function, it was dressed up really nice and was separated from the rest of the restaurant.

This place has fantastic Neopolitan-style pizza, and the service is great as well. The crust is airy and chewy. The sauce, sweet and tangy. The toppings are of excellent quality and thoughtfully combined. The mussels were delicious as well, prepared in a sweet, creamy broth with pork and fennel leaves. It's a great neighborhood spot and is also worth the trip if you're craving gourmet pizza. More...
