Cutting Edge Innovative managed a complete remodel of my condo and did a fantastic job! Renovations can be stressful but CEI was masterful at managing the process, making it as seamless and easy as possible. I don’t even know where to start listing all the wonderful comments I have about Davide Nicco and his crew at Cutting Edge Innovative. Our whole South Beach condominium unit was hit hard by water damage during Hurricane Irma in 2017. After many months or remediation etc (11 months), we began to search for a contractor to start our massive renovation. None of the ones that we interviewed with remotely seem to have the skill, people personality or price that we were looking for until we found Cutting Edge Inn. I dealt with Davide from the very start during the proposal and negotiating process up until the work was completely finished and beyond. He is an amazing project manager with an amazing ability to remember even the smallest details of the project. There was never a time when he refused to at least try to make something happen for me and 99% of the time he did it the way I wanted it and the other 1% he had a better alternative for it. His problem solving skills, incredible patience and ability to multitask between projects is commendable all the while being completely responsive to texts or calls at any time of the day and sometimes evenings. Once you hire Davide he is 100% in and makes you feel like you’re the only project he’s got going on (even though you may not be). On top of it all, I was able to do 95% of the project from start to finish while I was hundreds of miles away via texts and calls. He even gave me access to communicating directly with his technicians and skilled workers via text so we could communicate more easily about a particular situation. He made even the ordering process of different items such as electrical parts so much easier (if you’ve ever tried to purchase the correct electrical outlets and outlet plates for diff functionalities in your home you know what I’m talking about!!) because he would search for what he needed and then send me the link to order. He went beyond the call of duty by offering to work out of my apt for a couple of hours while waiting for the delivery of our kitchen appliances and many more instances. When you meet Davide, do not be fooled by his youth (mid 20’s) because his experience is clearly beyond his years. If you are looking to remodel your home, look no further, Cutting edge is the way to go. Carlos and his team did an entire remodel for my Miami Beach apartment. Carlos, is reliable, honest, and knowledgeable, he knows his stuff, which ensures for a smooth process. They remodeled my apartment in record timing, always letting me know what our next move was, and Carlos always answered my questions, in a timely fashion. I was skeptical about the remodeling process, from the beginning, but Carlos and his team are EXCEPTIONAL!! If I have to remodel another property, I would call them again, hands down! We hired Cutting Edge to complete a renovation project we wanted to do in a townhome we had just recently closed on in South Beach. We came across Carlos and his team on Houzz and were impressed with his many great reviews. After reaching out and setting up an appointment to meet and go through our project, we were very impressed with Carlos off the bat. He is very professional and thorough when it comes to explanation of what his team will need to do in order to complete the work required to be done. Immediately after hiring Cutting Edge, the communication lines were open and we were kept up to date at all times as to what was going on. Ronald was our project manager and he did a wonderful job of handling the specifics of the job onsite as well as keeping us posted as to what was going on. Carlos and Ronald were always available to us whether we had a minor question or needed explanations regarding something. Our project encompassed almost all parts of our townhouse including installing kitchen countertops & backsplash, sanding down and re-staining an entire second floor of wood floors, removal and installation of a custom stair rail, putting up drywall to create extra second floor rooms, interior painting throughout and other items including electric wiring. In addition, we were pregnant during this timeframe and we were on a strict timeline as to when completion needed to be. Carlos and Ronald worked with us diligently to make sure our construction was done efficiently and on time (which in our opinion is hard to come by in Miami). Overall we are very happy with the work Cutting Edge has done for us and we would have full confidence hiring them again to complete a renovation project should we want to. We hired Carlos and his team at Cutting Edge to do a major renovation gut of our home; moving load-bearing walls, new plumbing, new electrical, new mechanical, new roof, new kitchen, flooring, drywall, and two new additions. Carlos was in constant communication during the entire 12 months of the project. When running into issues (inevitable with older homes) he always troubleshooted and explored solutions before approaching us with recommendations in mind. I tend to be wordy, so I’ll start with what I most want to communicate. Cutting Edge are the best and if you’re thinking about renovating your home, stop reading this and call or email them now.
They deliver quality product, they have a well-managed process, they are flexible with respect to how involved you as the customer may want to be, and they get projects completed on-budget and on-time.
They listen to you at the beginning, middle and end of the process. They keep you updated on a regular basis. And, you’re not going to believe this…they get to meetings on-time, take the time needed to cover whatever questions or feedback you may have, and they seem to actually like what they do! A refreshing concept.
Carlos and Lanny were the managers of my project, who were both extremely professional. And we even had a bunch of laughs throughout. I was renovating my house in order to make it a more pleasant place to live. So, why shouldn’t the process be a pleasant one? It can be.
I found them here on Houzz, and will admit I was initially scared off by the high-end nature of the properties included in their marketing materials. I needed a gut renovation, but in a modest (while stylish) fashion. I wasn’t looking to be on the cover of “Modern Living”, and didn’t want to pay a mega-premium.
I’m glad I didn’t pre-judge …I called, got a prompt estimate from Carlos broken down by the items I wanted done, asked my questions, got honest and straight-forward responses, and was in contract within a few days. And at a price well in the range of my expectations. For me, there was no doubt that the value they brought to the process and the final product was worth at least what I paid.

We hired The Cutting Edge Innovative to do demolition and renovations at our house. The work included demolishing a 50-year old rundown overhead structure and concrete slab, removing two large equipment sheds, installing a new 21' x 15' concrete slab for the replacement shed, removal/replacement of the entire surrounding fence, sodding the entire yard, re-tiling the front porch, installing a new door frame and door, replacing the front concrete walkway, and putting a fresh coat of paint inside and out. Davide Nicco was the project manager in charge and did a tremendous job coordinating the work and managing multiple sub-contractors seamlessly behind the scenes. We had requested at the start of the project that this work be done "by the book" and Davide and his team took care of the entire permitting process from application to finalization including all the headaches and frustrations that come with it. Unforeseen issues arose and Davide responded and resolved each and every one of them quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Davide and the Cutting Edge team for any and all projects. It is with great pleasure and honor i write a review for Cutting Edge. First i would like to commence by thanking each individual within the staff as each one plays an important role within the company.
Working with them throughout my project was an amazing experience. Secondly I cannot fail to mention the history behind this company that led me into contacting them as well as contracting them for my project. This Company and the services that they render are by far exceptional their integrity and loyalty and not to mention the quality of work provided are traits that are not easy to find now a days. The schedule that was provided for my project was one that was on point every step of the way the project manager as well as the GC was accessible if any questions arose. I highly recommend cutting edge as no project is too little or too big for them in my eyes. I met Carlos and cutting edge in 2015 when my wife and I had just bought a house that needed to be completely renovated.
At the time Carlos was the 5th contractor we had interviewed.
Carlos was a breath of fresh air..Anytime you contact him, he immediately gets back to you (even at 11pm). He was more than willing to work with some of my subcontractors that I trust and work with. His prices were very reasonable and was willing to work around our budget without losing any quality.
Since then, we have completed our dream house on time and in budget, since this renovation I recommended him to my mother and law, brother and friends.
He's the epitome of professionalism.
