I can’t recommend Cotton Rouge enough! Mandy did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for portraits and the big day! We also had an additional artist working on makeup for bridesmaids on the wedding day and she was wonderful as well. They were so welcoming and fun to work with throughout the day and did such a good job with everyone. We had full use of the salon downtown which was so cute and a great place for all of us to relax, have brunch and enjoy getting ready together before the ceremony.

Pricing was great and transparent throughout the process as well!

I had Amanda and Staci the day of my wedding! They were beyond professional and just awesome to have around! They got to know me during our trial run the day of my portraits and my hair and makeup turned out so perfectly I told them not to change a thing for the big day. The day of the wedding they came early to set up and be ready to go, and they got to moving so quickly that we were ahead of schedule! With only 2 ladies doing 1 bride, 8 bridesmaids, 1 jr. bridesmaid, 2 flower girls and 1 MoB I was nervous that we wouldn’t have enough time, but instead they did their work so quickly that they joined us for some breaks and danced with us and took part in our Chick fil a! Amanda and Staci were so kind to our little girls too, they made our Jr. Bridesmaid feel like a total princess with her updo- highlight of the day! They took pictures with my girls and they truly made sure everyone looked the way they wanted. One of my bridesmaids changed her mind about her hair and Staci had absolutely no problem fixing it to her liking! Cotton Rouge is very responsive to requests and questions. They are personable and make your entire experience relaxing and fun. My trial (which I used for rehearsal dinner) and wedding makeup were perfect. My hair fell out a bit toward the end but I was jumping around a ton.

Overall- I would highly recommend Cotton Rouge Makeup and Hair studio. They kept the wedding party on time and even got my hair/makeup completed early to give me time to get extra photos taken.

I hired Cotton Rouge last minute as I was trying to find someone affordable that could also do airbrush makeup. Shockingly, it was pretty difficult to locate someone who offered both. But, Cotton Rouge saved the day. Not only was it affordable, they worked so well with my timeline and all of the makeup was just stunning. We received so many compliments! I do not have enough positive words to say for Katie Cotton and her company. I was absolutely in love with all things I had done by Katie. I had hired her for my bridal hair and makeup by asking around and I could not have picked a more perfect person for the job! I ended up having her do my hair and make up for my engagement pictures which was perfect. It was simple but beautiful. I then decided to do a boudoir with Katie and had my wedding hair and make up trial done at the same time! It was so nice of her that she allowed me to do that since I was using her for both aspects anyway! If you are on the cusp of doing a boudoir I would 100% recommend Katie. I never felt uncomfortable during the shoot, it was fun and the pictures are AMAZING! Every single one of them I love! I will definitely be back for a second shoot at some point to surprise the hubby! As a Bride- Katie and her curl stylist were everything and more. They were fast, efficient and worked with all of my bridesmaids and mother of the bride. My make up was flawless and my hair was exactly what I had pictured. Not to mention, Katie is easy to get along with, fun, professional and awesome at what she does. I could not thank her and her team enough! We used Erica to do my oldest daughters wedding in May and everyone looked stunning!!! We used her again for my second daughters wedding this weekend. Not only did they do a wonderful job on hair and makeup for our large bridal party but some of the zippers in the dresses broke. Erica jumped right in and took control of the crisis. Katie and her team are just the BEST. Katie did my wedding and my sisters, along with every other wedding I've been in that was in the Greenville area! During my make-up and hair trial, Melissa did a great job of listening to what I liked and didn't like. I worked with Melissa and she was awesome! I did a hair and make-up trial run and she didn't make me feel bad when I changed my mind on the hair style I wanted. She gave me tips on things to get and get done for the big day and was always available and responsive when I reached out to her. She went above and beyond on our wedding day. She came to our reception venue's bridal suit and got my 3 bridesmaids, mom of the groom and myself prettied up. She was early, professional and at the same time felt like a friend. At our request, she came to our ceremony venue to do touch-ups. She made the trek up the mountain to Pretty Place Chapel in a torrential downpour. When we got to the chapel the main entrance was flooded because of a clogged drain and there was several inches of water in the bridal suite. She didn't let that hinder her and got to work dragging out her tools and set to work tirelessly curling and re-curling our hair and doing make-up touchups and providing moral support for our first look, ceremony and final touch-ups for romantic and bridal pics. Katie from Cotton Rouge did my hair and makeup for my wedding this fall. She also did our bridesmaids' and our moms'. She was able to budget exactly how much time it would take, and was really helpful at providing a timeline for he morning-of. She came on-site, and was such a delight to be around. Price was extremely reasonable and more than worth it for the quality of work! Melissa was the artist who took care of me and my wedding party. We were given a window of time that was more than enough time to get ready and to make sure everyone was happy and that there was no rush. Melissa worked carefully and efficiently and made sure that everyone got what they wanted and were satisfied with the outcome. She made sure to do touch ups on the ones who went first and her range in ability was wonderful! I wish I could give this a 4.5 star review. I had cotton rouge come to me for bridal makeup and hair. Katie cotton did an amazing job on both me and my mom, and was excellent in listening to our needs. She arrived on time and did everything she said she would. I had absolutely no problems until afterwards. I paid with a check but tipped in cash. My wedding was on Oct. 13th, the same day I paid for the service via check. The check wasn’t cashed until 2 entire months later. I highly recommend Katie for event hair and makeup, but suggest you pay with cash or card, if a check being held over your account for a long period of time might throw you off. More...

This was one of the best hires for my wedding. Latia and Allie were AMAZING. They showed up on time, didn't rush any of us, and were so friendly. .. they contributed to the relaxing morning :) They did amazing work on my bridesmaids, mother, and myself. Everyone loved their hair and makeup...and in the middle of the July heat, everyone's makeup stayed on, and everyone's hair stayed in place! I also had Latia stay for touch-ups...and this was one of the best decisions I made. This vendor is amazing. Especially for someone who doesn't know a lot about makeup. The two ladies from Cotton Rouge came to the venue the morning of and got me and my girls all squared away with make up and hair. They did very wonderful and very friendly. I hired Cotton Rouge and Company to do the hair and make-up for my wedding. The company was easy and pleasant to communicate with, and they were extremely accommodating. One of my bridesmaids has Celiac Disease and cannot use any products with gluten in them (it happens more than you think), and my mom has incredibly sensitive skin. They were patient and presented numerous solutions to accommodate these ladies, and they looked gorgeous! The prices are very reasonable, especially since they travel to you. Lauren was our artist, and she was FANTASTIC. Not only did she do a great job with our hair and make-up, but she had a calming influence over the room. When she was doing my hair and make-up, the florist arrived with numerous mistakes that I had to deal with. When I came back (with raised anxiety), my bride tribe was off getting ready themselves, so it was just me and Lauren. She stepped in and served as friend as she helped calm me down.
