Amy has photographed the weddings of my children. Her work truly shines in those settings that one would assume would be an everyday, mundane occurance for a photographer. Not so with Amy and her staff. Her professionalism and her creativity are impeccable. She incorporates the natural light and unique characteristics of the environment into her art to create truly memorable and one of kind depictions of a moment. She has a keen ability to capture the emotions of her subjects. When I peruse the memories she has created, I can still hear the music and the laughter, and can feel the love and tenderness of those very special moments. There is no one else I would rather have behind the lens of the camera capturing the smiles of my family. On the business side I found her to be very prompt and timely. My wife and I were married in Maine aboard the Schooner Nathaniel Bowditch out of Rockland, ME. Amy Wilton was our photographer for this amazing time. Her style and ability to capture the essence of our day was wonderful. We wanted to have a fun time with our guests aboard the boat and Amy captured that in her photos. She also posed us in several shots that brought out not only the romance of our relationship but also that of the sea that surrounded us. My wife and I had a difficult time trying to figure out how she was able to get some of her shots from the angle shown. We actually found out from one of her assistants photos that she was climbing in the rigging of the boat to get the angles she wanted. We found her to have a keen eye and non-intrusive in her work.

Amy did a wonderful job of capturing all of the details of our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with her services. She showed up a little early the afternoon of the wedding, was very helpful, and really understood what we wanted from the pictures. We were able to review our pictures the Thursday after the wedding and received our digital negatives the following week...along with a CD set to music.

Amy was incredible! Her style is impeccable. The compilation she put together for my album was outstanding. If you like the photojournalistic style of photography Amy is your absolute best choice. She travels around the world and takes photos that will make you cry. If you want carefully/traditionally posed photos, she is not the best choice. She is understated (I can't remember ever seeing her during the ceremony) and professional and very down to earth: easy to work with. The album took a long time to come (hence the lower score on responsiveness) but she gave me a few extra pages in my album to offset the long wait. She's expensive and totally worth every penny. I planned a destination wedding in Maine (I was living in British Columbia) so it was very important for me to have vendors who could help me plan my wedding. Amy's style, both as a photographer and as a business owner, were perfect for us. She asked questions and truly listened for what we wanted when it came to our photos.
