My specific need was to create a Will so that in the event of my death, the proceeds from my home would go into a Living Fund Account at my bank so that the proceeds from the house would go into a Living Trust Fund at my bank which the assets of the house to go directly to that fund and avoid those assets from being tied up in a Probate Count which could tie up those assets for a considerable time, plus legal fees and costs to the court. For those that haven't thought about what happens to their home when a death occurs, I would suggest consulting an attorney and doing this now. My father who lived in Hallandale Beach passed away suddenly in late January of 2026. My mother now alone without anyone to help asked me to find an attorney to help us with all of the paperwork. It turns out neither of my parents had wills in place, nor any other important paperwork such as power of attorney, medical proxy, or having my name on the deed to their condominum, which would end up in probate should my mom pass. Attorney Weksler took the time to personally call me back to discuss the options and costs for preparing all of the needed paperwork to help my mom through this difficult process.
