Mike Hines, also known as Mike Hines and The Look, is a 2022 inductee into the Delaware Rock & Roll Society. They are a high-energy 5-member dance band from Delaware that can bring any party to life. They play R&B, hip hop, pop, old-school funk, and a small taste of Motown and disco and have been performing together for over three decades in DE, MD, NJ, and PA.

Mike Hines and the Look played at my Daughters wedding, From Start to Finish ,Mikes expert communication made our planning flawless. From the time we booked the event right up to the wedding, Mike kept in constant with me ensuring that our event would be perfect. Every song we requested was played either by the band or his D J between sets. Right from the first song all of our guests were on their feet dancing and singing until the end of the evening. What do you love most about your job?
What I like the most about my job is entertaining people. We love interacting and engaging with the crowd and making them part of our performance. My band has developed a following from several generations and has entertained guests aged 2 to 82. Seeing people of all ages and nationalities singing and dancing at our performances is beautiful.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a child, my father told me that if I could earn a living doing what I love, I would never work a day in my life. That stuck with me, so I chose music as my career. That's always been my dream and I'm happy to say I'm living a dream.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have 39 years of experience and take pride in getting the crowd on the dance floor and participating. We‘re not a band just playing music; we make it an experience and make the audience part of the performance. We play various music and bring leis, beads, glow sticks, and various things for the guests to enjoy.
Entertainment
Mike Hines and The Look frequently perform at nightclubs, weddings, festivals, private parties, and galas. We are a five piece band, and we provide a DJ to play before the band starts; during the breaks, we have two or three people with our production crew. We offer additional performers at an additional fee. We also hand out leis, beads, and glow necklaces to the guests and interact with them throughout the performance.
