Working with Visual Etiquette was a great experience from start to finish!! Emil responded promptly to my inquiry looking for a photographer for my daughter’s baby shower. He answered all of my questions and then confirmed with me the day before our event. He showed up right on time and got to work immediately photographing us, the venue, the decorations and the gifts. He worked continuously for 2 hours. He was polite, friendly, and professional to all of my guests. The finished photos are absolutely beautiful! This is exactly what I had hoped for. We had a great time booking an outdoor family portrait session with VisualEtiquette at my inlaws' home in their backyard. Emil was very responsive prior to the shoot, and we were very pleased with the amount of portraits we captured in a one-hour session of our extended family as well as the four individual families present . He was on top of everything - he knew where to get great shots at Lake Katherine (Palos Heights, IL), came up with some nice poses so I wasn’t just standing awkwardly the whole time, and was constantly fixing the train on my dress. I love all the pictures so much and genuinely had a difficult time deciding which ones to send to people, because I just wanted to send them all! Emil was our photographer for our engagement photos and wedding photos/videography. We just recently received our wedding photos and they are spectacular. Still waiting on the video, but we wanted to leave a review before we forgot and we are certain the video will be just as great. We paid for a second person to help on the wedding day and he was also terrific (forget his name, unfortunately). Rates were very reasonable. Emil was always timely and respectful in all our communications and he is incredibly easy to get along with, which really helps getting candid, great photos. He had great ideas and compositions. To the extent it's helpful, we had bright orange and blue wedding colors at the Morton Arboretum on an overcast day and all of the photos absolutely pop -- we've gotten lots of really lovely compliments from those we've shown them to. Emil was an absolute dream to work with. He helped me plan, execute, and memorialize the most perfect proposal. From doing a walk-through with me prior to the shoot, offering helpful suggestions, to being at the spot early and taking pictures at various spots in the nearby vicinity.
