Karen and her team took such amazing care of Ruby! The videos and pictures came multiple times daily and it was amazing to see her progress while she was there. The lesson we received when picking Ruby up made us even more confident in continuing Ruby’s training at home. Currently writing this on our way back home from picking Ruby up and we are SO excited to see how Ruby continues to learn and grow. 1000% recommend Up A Level, they are amazing and the training is literally life changing. My husband and I had been struggling to train our dog for months, he would never listen and had so much crazy energy that we couldn’t keep up with. We brought our dog to UAL for a 3 week training class and are amazed with the progress he made. From the very first phone call, Karen was so great and made us feel so comfortable and confident in her training. When we dropped our dog off, we toured the kennels and she told us all about what our dog would be doing each day, and we met Caleb who would be helping train our dog. I really liked that there are training videos for us as well, so we could learn how to keep the training going at home. Those videos and the private sessions really helped us feel more confident in our ability to maintain all the progress our dog had made. We also got video updates every week so we could see the training in action, follow our dog’s progress, and see how much fun he was having! We’ve had our dog home for a few days now and everything is still going well - we’ve been able to maintain the training and our dog’s behavior is so much better. Doing this training with Karen and UAL was worth every penny and worth every second away from our dog. Next time we need to board our dog or train another one, we will definitely be back to Up A Level!! More...

As someone who has used other training programs in other cities - I will only be using Up A Level K9 in the future. The puppy imprinting program was an absolute game changer and have learned that us puppy parents should not wait! It’s never too early to begin training. Karen and the team treat all the dogs with such care and a high attention to detail. Will now be sending both my puppy and my seven year old pug to the three week training program. I’ve never trusted anyone with my 7 year old pug as he has significant separation anxiety and some trauma - but I am truly comfortable with Karen and her team. More...

Incredible experience. The talented trainers at Up A Level K9 went above and beyond our expectations. We came to them with a dog who had some behavioral issues, and since we love our pup we sought professional help. Karen (the owner) made us feel so at ease, she was compassionate but also commanding with the dogs. We opted for the 3-4 week training program because we wanted to make sure our pup got the best results. We saw vast improvements in his behavior so quickly, and Karen made sure to send video updates about his training several times a week. It's hard to be away from our furry best friends, but Up A Level K9 made that transition easier with the detailed updates. One of the best compliments I can give is that they are honest about your dogs behavior. If the dog is being a jerk, they will let you know so you can work with them to correct it. Some trainers sugar coat it and that doesn't help you or the pup. We are continuing to work with our pup but thanks to the great foundation that Karen and the rest of UpALevelK9 have set with our dog, we are continuing to see major improvements! Asta and Aspen have been home a week now from #UpaLevelK9Academy. They are two very active, very sweet, but equally stubborn Wire Hair Fox Terriers. I knew changes were occurring in their ability to control their impulses, pay attention, and do something as simple as come when called when I had my two private lessons with them during their board and train with Karen and Anthony at Up A Level K9 Academy. Getting them home, the change is amazing. No more bolting out of their kennels or at an open door; they sit and wait patiently (mostly, remember the’re Terriers!) for the OK to go; no more pulling at the leash when we go for a walk; instead very nice leash manners making our walks enjoyable; no more tearing through the house like demons and I can ask them to get on their climb (an elevated pet bed) and they’ll stay there for as long as I ask them to – – anything from 20 minutes to a couple of hours. They even learned to walk on the treadmill which will come in really handy this winter during extreme weather – – because these two need a lot of exercise. During their time at Up A Level K9 Academy with Karen and Anthony they learned a language, a language I can use now to communicate with them. And really important thing to me, they were trained with kindness – – videos during training showed me that they respected the training and commands but loved Karen and Anthony (Asta and Aspen also love to offer lots of kisses). Board & Train: Foundation and/or Behavior modification programs

We provide real world training!
Foundation training involves minor manners overhaul.
We offer behavior modification as well: I.e resource guarding, dog aggression and reactivity, fearful reactivity etc.

Puppy Immersion Board and Train
Your puppy, less than 16 weeks of age, stays at our training facility for 10 days and learns basic on leash training, crate training, and potty training, and beginnings of proper socialization.
Private Lessons
4 pack private lesson, where we teach the owners how to train their dogs. We offer basic and advanced obedience and on and off leash training.
Behavior modification varies, call for further details.
