The show is about forty five minutes post dinner for a stage show, or sixty to ninety minutes of walkaround close-up magic during cocktail hour, or both. Most corporate clients do both.
What actually happens is pretty simple. People walk in guarded, phones out, stuck in the same corners and the same conversations. By the time it is over they are laughing with people they have never met and genuinely present in the room together. That energy does not leave when the night ends.
