I have worked in the private security field for 14 years. I am currently the Director of Security and Operations of the largest event security company in southwest Missouri, Event Services Group, LLC. At ESG I run security for multiple events such as concerts, college and professional sports, Broadway productions, rodeos, and many others.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to provide safety to people in order to give them reassurance and have a good time no matter where they are.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After being in full-time ministry for almost 20 years, I started working for Event Services Group, LLC. I found a new love and career in security. I have always had a keen sense for security and safety. I was an independent bouncer and cooler in several clubs in Springfield, MO. I have taken several courses in security and safety. Through my training and experience I have developed myself to get to where I am now.

Trust and experience are key. If you cannot trust the person you are working with for security, then they are the wrong person. Always look at their experience as well as their training. I have several years of experience and training. I have worked in a lot of different areas of security armed and unarmed. I work directly with the client and go over everything up front so they know what to expect. Being a pastor for several years has taught me to work well with others with integrity.
