My son adopted a yellow lab. Because she grew up on a farm and was basically a “free bird”, suburban life and walking on a leash were an adjustment. We found The Dog Wizard and we’re extremely happy with the advice and training for US! We’ve raised 2 labs but a rescue is a little different. Greg, Nicole, Hailey were very patient with Willow AND my son and I! We have more confidence because of the tools and knowledge they taught us. After Willow’s “graduation”, Greg said we could contact him anytime with questions or concerns. Love that they offer group classes for doggie socializing . We had a wonderful experience with the training of our dogs with The Dog Wizard. We were having issues with minor fighting between our older (9) female German shepherd and our younger (4) male mutt. Haley and Greg came in to our home and immediately identified some key issues that were causing trouble. They worked with us to re-establish a hierarchy among our dogs and helped us with obedience training as well. The dogs haven’t had a fight in months because of the changes they helped us make. We are so happy with the results. Special shout out to Haley who went out of her way to bring me a graduation certificate at the end of training because I mentioned that our younger dog never got to graduate puppy training or get a certificate because the guy doing his training quit ❤️. Why should our clients choose you?
We are a mobile dog training company, which means we come to you, to your home, to work directly with you and your pup in the environment where you live that accommodates your schedule and lifestyle. Not only does this take something off your plate - you don't have to take time out of your day to drive to a lesson that's not on your schedule - but we are training your dog in the environment where you want and expect the dog to behave, which is critically important.

We do not provide dog training services online. For us, it is very important that we work directly with the dog and the owners in their environment. There is a dynamic inter-relationship that takes place between the dog and the people that is critical to dog behavior that can only be experienced in person.
Private Dog Training
Does your dog need one-on-one training support? The Dog Wizard has you covered with our personalized, private dog training sessions. First, our professional trainers will get to know your pet’s unique habits. Then, they’ll design a training plan that meets their precise needs. These lessons may take place at your home or our facility — wherever you and your dog feel most comfortable.
Dog Day Training
Finding time to train your dog can be difficult. If you’re too busy during the day, you might benefit from The Dog Wizard Day Training program. Throughout the day, your pet will work with a trainer to improve behavior. Between day schools, you’ll enjoy a private lesson in the comfort of your own home. Depending on your and your dog’s needs, you may choose between 6-day and 15-day programs.
Puppy Training Programs
There’s no doubt puppies are full of energy. While this playfulness provides plenty of entertainment, it can also lead to behavioral problems. From chewing furniture to play biting, there are all sorts of mischief for young puppies to get into. That’s why we offer comprehensive puppy training. These lessons teach puppies essential skills (such as obedience commands, leash walking and socialization), helping ensure they grow into well-behaved adults.
Lifetime Support
It’s one thing for your dog to learn new skills. It’s another for your dog to retain those skills for years. At The Dog Wizard, we offer lifetime support as part of our training programs. After your dog graduates, you can continue to bring it in for weekly group classes. These sessions offer a chance to reinforce skills, make new friends and strengthen the unique bond between the pet and pet parent.
