From day one, Ken’s expertise, patience, and genuine love for dogs were clear. We met with Kent earlier this week to help us with our GSP pup who was has behavioral issues, specifically aggression, pulling on walks, counter surfing, etc. Kent was phenomenal! He gave us practical and common sense guidance to work with our girl, which we started implementing immediately. His advise has been extremely helpful and we are seeing improvements already. Ken has done a fantastic job with our 14 month old German Shepherd pup, Pistol. He returned home to us, after a 4 week board and train stay with Ken, a few weeks ago. I must say, Pistol is more confident, manageable, and his reactive behavior is all but gone. My husband and I are able to handle him with so much more confidence. Pistol displayed extremely high prey drive and distracted by every little thing. We've been able to manage that behavior because of the incredible training and tools Ken has given all of us. I decided to enroll my 7-month-old Golden Retriever, Finn, with Ken’s Space Coast Dog Training program. After Finn spent three weeks with him, he has made incredible strides, and I could not be happier with the results. Finn is an active and curious pup with a tendency to get easily distracted, yet Ken approached these traits with patience. Over the course of three weeks, Finn progressed in areas such as leash-walking and basic manners like sit, heel and come, which are now second nature to him. Ken also involved me in the process. Regular updates, videos, and detailed feedback helped me feel connected to Finn’s progress. At the end of the program, he conducted a handover session to ensure I could maintain Finn’s new skills. He walked me through the techniques he had used, answered all my questions, and gave me the confidence to continue reinforcing Finn’s training at home. Ken has been the best dog trainer that we’ve had the pleasure of working with. I have two female dogs that had issues and would fight each other to a point where rehoming was in question. He took each dog separately, a month at a time and got them trained very well. He is very knowledgeable, very kind, and very helpful. I would recommend him to everyone who might be considering getting a dog trainer. I have used other trainers and got zero results from the training, but Ken is worth the money. I am now able to confidently have both dogs in close vicinity to each other without worrying about a potential issue knowing both dogs have been trained to listen and not react to the other dog. 10/10 for Ken! I have had 2 golden retrievers that were angels but my 7 mo. old WAS a beast. I have bruises all over my arms and legs from jumping on me. I went to 2 different basic obedience classes and neither solved my problems. Then a miracle - - - Ken from Spacecoast trng. I cannot say enough how my golden is now. She obeys every command and a perfect dog.She will become a Therapy dog soon. It has been a beautiful change. I was so stressed and exhausted. I left my dog Vera with Ken for about three weeks and was very impressed with the results. Ken is a no nonsense type of guy and he is an expert in his field. I could not be more thankful for Ken and his ability to bring out the greatest qualities in our dog. We sent our 10 month GSP to Ken for 4 weeks and were amazed at how well behaved she was upon her arrival. Before sending her to board and train with Ken, she had poor household and leash manners, with a very unreliable recall. Ken was amazing at keeping us updated, always sending pictures and videos of Hattie’s progress! After her time with Ken, she has great household manners, leash manners and an amazing recall! Ken did a wonderful job training our rescue puppy Newman!! He had a lot of distraction issues, would escape every time we opened the door and wouldn’t come back, and was hard to control on his leash. You won’t go wrong with Space Coast Dog Training. Ken is a true professional trainer. We have sent our dog, Beau, an Australian Shepherd for board and train. Life has become so much easier for Beau after training. We take him on vacation with us everywhere. He is obedient and very trustworthy. He has truly become our best friend. Things have gone so well with Beau when we got Daisy our English Bulldog we sent her also to Ken for board and train with the same outstanding results. With Ken he also supports his training with excellent ongoing training services as needed. Ken is quick to respond to any calls, texts or emails about any behavior questions I have had. Myla our Golden Retriever was aggressive around our small pups and full of anxiety..When she was young we brought her for basic training but it didn’t help with her bad behaviors and biting her owners and siblings. . We as Mylas parents were at our wits end with not knowing what to do, we contacted our Vet who recommended Ken and the minute he showed up we had Hope for the first time. She spent 3 plus weeks and came home a well behaved fur baby who has shown zero aggression and a bunch of new skills that made her parents super happy. We did the board and train with Ken for our Husky, Sable when she was 5 months old. We really wanted her to have a good recall and be able to walk/ hike off leash with us! Ken listened to what was important to us and now we have such a well behaved husky. We walk her off leash all the time and hike with her in the mountains with all the trust in the world. We get so many compliments on how well behaved she is and shocked reactions to seeing a husky walking off leash. Sable is now 1 year old and all of her training has stayed with her, she can even heel off leash ☺️ she automatically does all of the things Ken taught her (with consistency at home since she graduated) like sitting at doors, chewing her treats on her place and going to her place automatically when we’re in the kitchen/ making her food. 100% would recommend! Ken did a great job with my 3 year old hound, Hazel. She was out of control to say the least. No manners, no boundaries, awful on a leash, etc. I can’t believe how well behaved she is now, not to mention she’s like a completely different dog outside when we walk. I sent my 2 year old Labrador retriever, Marley Mae, to Ken for board and train. When she left for training all she had was the very basics, she was hyper, didn’t walk on a leash it was more her pulling, and only listened when she wanted to. Ken was very accommodating when I needed Marley to stay a few extra days past her scheduled graduation date. When he brought her home I was in awe with her calm nature and all around changed behavior. Ken spent a few hours going over everything with me, and basically trained me as the owner. I learned so much about being a dog owner that I never knew, and has definitely helped me to bond with Marley. Marley goes pretty much everywhere with me now! Ken has done an amazing job with Beau our 4 year old Australian Shepard. Ken has built a very good foundation that we are building on daily to meet our families needs. We have gone for having a dog that liked to jump on everyone, bolt out the door, pulling on walks to marking everything he sees. After a few weeks with Ken we can now walk Beau stress free. In a safe environment we will walk him off leash, Beau will now sit and wait as we move along with out him then come on command. Beau loves the daily trips to the store where we work on his skills. Beau has been home with us for a month or so now. We have had some set backs and ken has always been very quick responding to our request for help. Our pup Koda went to see Ken in January for the board and train program and we are very happy with his training. He is overall a much better behaved dog and everything was checked off that we wanted to be covered. Now we are adjusting to Koda learning what we expect in our house vs how he behaved with Kenn. It’s like a toddler seeing if he can break the rules. We are learning just like he is and when we have had issues come up we reached out to Ken and he got back to us and called us to discuss what we can do and offered to come back and work with us one to one if the issues aren’t resolved.
