My educational background is in engineering, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri. However, after working for a few years I realized my true passion is programming and system design. After taking several classes, I became a systems analyst and programmer and worked on large mainframe computers.

Create Beautiful and Functional Websites
I recommend using WordPress for developing beautiful and functional websites for many reasons. But the main reason is cost. I am a web programmer and love building websites from scratch using the programming languages of the web: HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, and MySql. But by using the “Open Source” program called “WordPress” I gain many benefits. Because “WordPress” is open source code. Many developers write what are called “Themes”, “Plugins”, and/or “Widgets.” By adding these tools with WordPress, a web developer can greatly reduce the time required to create a website.
Add a complete reservation (booking) system:
I will create for you, using your WordPress website, a reservation system where you can choose a service, a person that will provide the service, a date, time-slot, store some information of the client and let the customer pay immediately.
I will style the reservation form to make it fit the design of the website. Then will place the form in a popup and trigger it with a button element. Then I will decide what should happen when a new booking is submitted. Send a notification to WordPress, an email to the business owner, a confirmation email to the Booker, and we will redirect the Booker to a thank you page.
Add a beautiful Event System and Event Calendar:
With our events calendar you can choose between flexible calendar views and display your events by day, month, or in a list. You may shine a spotlight on specific events to drive engagement and increase attendance. You may have recurring events that are monthly, weekly, and custom. Recurring events take the busywork out of calendar management. Show off your events in a photo grid, on a map, or by week. Share events from any spot on your website to display mini calendar, grid view, upcoming events, featured venues, and event countdowns.
Start a blog
Do you want to start a blog? I can help by building a 3 page website that is designed for a blogger. After the website is build I will teach you how to build blog pages, called post. Then we will learn how to use the WordPress C.M.S. to manage your new website.
Create an eCommerce Store
We will quickly add an eCommerce store to your website. Then add sales tax and shipping calculations using Woo Commerce extensions. Lastly, we will add options for checking out with PayPal, Square, and/or Stripe.
