Love this store - wonderful selection and top quality merchandise, with a staff to match. Had a great experience working with Nancy and Mercedes. I needed three rooms of furniture and had to return to the store multiple times. They work alternate days, and although I began the process with Mercedes, Nancy had no issue with stepping in to provide some much appreciated assistance on those occasions when Mercedes was not there. After buying a beautiful dining room set more than 2 years ago, a leg on one of the chairs suddenly broke. It turned out that there was a defect in the center of the wood that was unknown to the manufacturer. After working with Mike we were able to get a replacement chair free of charge. After searching in about every furniture store on 110 trying to find a storage solution for our small room we ended up at Seigermans . Rob was FANTASTIC from the second we walked in. We explained the concerns of our room and he graciously offered to come and measure our room to maximize our storage with new furniture . After measuring we proceeded with Robs suggestion of ordering a custom set . It took about 8 weeks as he promised and was delivered on schedule . We were able to pick number of drawers, color, handles, everything . We could not be happier !! I was looking for a platform bed and knew exactly what I wanted. I went to Raymor & Flanagan. I asked the salesperson if I could get a different headboard- he said “no”this is the way it comes. Fortunately I went across the street to Siegerman’s. When I asked the salesman the same question he said let me get Robert- he will design the bed anyway you want. We ordered a kitchen table that was quite expensive. We were told it would take weeks to come in. Instead it took months.We received the table finally . Just laying down regular items scratched the table IMMEDIATELY.It is 15 months old and I have a 28 year old Canadian table that looks 10x better.We called the store and they said " you must have abused it." In November, my husband and I went to Seigermans furniture looking for a dining room set. We had been to numerous other locations with no luck. Once we went into Seigermans, we met with Robert Knaster who showed us numerous sets on the floor. Unfortunately, none of them seem to meet what we were looking for and we thought we had struck out again. Robert took the time to show us how he could build a custom table for us and put together a design including chairs that we really liked. He told us to take the patterns home and see if it worked with our kitchen design. Upon going home we realized the pattern we chose was not a good fit for our Dining Room. Robert took the time to come to our home in The Bronx and agreed that the pattern we chose was not a good match. He was able to find a pattern and color that absolutely matched perfectly. Robert went on to build us a beautiful custom table and when it finally arrived with the chairs, it was absolutely stunning. We are so happy that we found Seigermans that day and even more happy that we found Robert to help design such a stunning custom table. Could not have been more impressed with the selection of quality and furniture at this store. Store is very well laid out and a joy to walk through compared to other furniture stores. I have shopped at Siegermans for many years, decorating 2 homes. I recently went back to help my older parents furnish their new condo. I was not looking forward to it, thinking I’d have to shop at so many different places. Not the case! With the help of Jennifer, Siegermans turned out to be one-stop shopping! The choices were endless! Jennifer made the whole experience quite pleasant; she was extremely knowledgeable, and truly cared about making us happy. We never felt pressured in any way (which was very important to my Mom), and she paid close attention to our budget and requirements. We used Seigerman’s Design Center to furnish our whole house. We had the pleasure of working with Ronelle and Linda and had the best experience. From the very beginning they were patient, excited and always willing to go the extra mile. They did everything from the furniture to the accessories for every single room in our home. I bought 3 items from them this June for our new home. Troubles with Natuzzi sectional and queen-size platform bed frame. We returned bed-frame as it was not platform as was promised.Then Natuzzi..... When it was delivered after 3 months waiting in September 13, corner part of the sectional had badly damaged/crushed foam inside on both angle. Over the last 6 weeks, repair professionals from Natuzzi(or their subcontractor) visited us twice and both gave up on fixing it. Now end of October, I am still waiting this issue to be resolved and you know this was not a 600 dollar purchase!! Unless this gets addressed soon, I will have to go to consumer board or to the court for compensation. I know Natuzzi shipped it but ultimately it is Seigerman’s responsibility to look after the customer! More...
