Voice Lessons
Beginner: Weekly lessons with a qualified voice teacher, designed to develop the voice to its fullest potential. The course of study is designed to specifically reach the student's goals in the genre of choice.
Intermediate: Continued development of the voice and study of selected repertory to develop control. A greater understanding of vocal music and its interpretation will be explored.
Advanced: Preparation of repertory for auditions and competitions will be covered. Lessons may be expanded to one hour with the addition of accompanists and a vocal coach to prepare for auditions and performances.
Piano Lessons
Beginning: The Student will learn the basic fundamentals of the instrument and how to read and interpret music. Following a prescribed course of study the student will be able to play basic piano pieces.
Intermediate: For students who have and currently play the piano and can demonstrate a satisfactory level of competency. Continued study at this level will prepare the student for more advanced study. The student will explore different styles of music such as Jazz, Pop and the Classics.
Piano Accordion
Beginning: The student will learn the basic fundamentals of the Piano Accordion, as well as how to read and interpret music. Following a prescribed course of study, the student will quickly learn to play basic Accordion pieces.
Intermediate: Once the student has completed the beginning course and/or has demonstrated a satisfactory level of competency a more in-depth study of 120 Bass Piano Accordion will begin. Continued study at this level will prepare the student to play the more traditional Accordion pieces.
Advanced: Continued study at this level the student will gain a greater understanding of Music Theory. Special attention will be given to the technical both the right (keyboard) hand and the left (bass) hand
Music Theatre
Beginner: Weekly lessons with a qualified voice teacher, designed to develop the voice to its fullest potential. The course of study is designed to specifically reach the student's goals in the music theater genre.
Intermediate: Continued development of the voice and study of selected repertory to develop control. A greater understanding of vocal music and its interpretation will be explored.
Advanced: Preparation of repertory for auditions and competitions will be covered with an emphasis on music theater. Lessons may be expanded to one hour with the addition of accompanists and a vocal coach to prepare for auditions and performances.
Music Theory/Song Writing
This course is designed to teach the student how to write a melody.
Following the Rules of Melody, your melody will always sound great and give you a strong foundation for the rest of the piece.
Once the Melody has been established the student will learn how to harmonize based on sound Music Theory principals.
Upon completion of the course, the student will have composed a song with 4-part harmony and receive a typeset printed copy of their composition along with a digital recording.
