Let me start out by saying this was actually a referral from a trusted friend. And now I’m paying it forward.
I highly recommend this business. I contacted Chef James a week out from the actual event. Which is a very short notice. however, Chef James experience and understanding immediately put my mind at ease.
he offered a variety of delicious food
options. And ultimately coming up with a full menu. For the event, which was a surprise birthday party for my mother.
He arrived on time set up the food beautifully. Well also offering entertainment, which was a great hit of the 360 Photo Booth

I hired James to cater a baby shower. He promised me that everything would be on point. That was so not the case. I ordered the large fruit platter, which should include pineapple, fresh berries, watermelon and honeydew. I got watermelon and honeydew. I ordered made to order grilled cheese sandwiches. They were already made with and got hard sitting in the warming dish. And I don't know what was worse, that or that's the bread was obviously dale bread. With one slice of Velveeta cheese.I ordered meatball sliders. The meatballs were frozen and the bread was horrible. I ordered a gourmet cheese and cracker platter. I got two trays that were bought from Safeway in plastic containers, and he didn't even bother to take the cheese and crackers out of those plastic containers. I ordered his pinwheels with blue and pink in them. I got pinwheels bought from a market, horrible and tasted disgusting. No blue or pink anywhere. Everything he promised, never happened. I paid for him and a server. The server never showed up. And then he proceeded to leave early without telling me, and he owed me $400 in cash. I would not work with this person ever. He offered to give me $600 back. Which I thought was very reasonable. He is now blocked me and will not return the money. This guy is a joke! More...

This was nothing but POSITIVES! Chef James set up early, everything was already set up when we walked in. He helped with a few other things I needed to get set up as well. The food was hot, fresh and full of flavor! The family was in the groove all day thanks to the dj, and they had a good time with the 360 photo booth. At the end we even took a cool live family photo using the photo booth in a creative way! I would strongly recommend Chef James, and will definitely use his services again if I need catering! Amazong food, had maple corn bread for my first time and loved it, wen good with breaded wings, loaded baked potato with sour cream cheddar cheese butter house seasoning and green onions, my favorite with a side of southern cabbage. Highly recommend
