Natasa did such a wonderful job furnishing and decorating my apartment in NYC, I would recommend her to anyone interested in professional interior design services! Coming from someone who has little to no knowledge of the industry, it was refreshing that she was able to handle the entire project and teach me a few things along the way. After moving to New York and finding a suitable apartment (in my case, a large unfurnished two bedroom on the Upper West Side), I decided to engage an interior designer ahead of moving in.

I undertook thorough research and spoke to 5+ firms before making my decision. I selected Tuohy Studios because (a) Natasa (the principal designer) was flexible and didn't try to impose rigid pricing packages upon me; (b) she had impressive experience - educated in design / architecture in Florence and practicing for over a decade; and (c) I felt like she understood my vision for our new home.

Working with Natasa was a delight. I was impressed by her methodical approach, the extra level of detail and consideration she brought to the process. She worked with me as a design partner - we both originated ideas and analyzed their overall suitability for the homely concept we were pursuing. Natasa understood my artistic parameters and wishes and did everything she could to find appropriate vendors who had chic items available in the timelines I was working towards.

One of the things that is perhaps hardest to visualize when you are picking out furniture yourself is space and light. The way Natasa built up floorplans, placing items with precise dimensions and bringing alive concepts and layouts, was so useful in getting things right.

Natasa was readily available, went beyond the agreed parameters in our contract to support and was very supportive throughout. I commend her Studios to anyone looking for someone who has a flair for creativity combined with science of good design.

We are so happy with the look and feel of every room and do not plan to move anytime soon. I rented a flat and gave Natasa a concept - she made it real and gave us back somewhere we can call home. More...

Natasa with a joy to work with. I wanted to redo my living and dining room and I had a idea f what I wanted. While she stuck with the core ideas she offered those and alternative that I went with and was very pleased by the finial results. I highly recommed her.
