What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great exposer! knowing the science behind photography. Causing my subjects to become comfortable in front of the camera, this is done in a few ways.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Whats your fav color, car, sports and most of all do you have children. We all have favorite points of interest. My job is to cause you to become comfortable in front of the camera.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating images that causes people to smile and sometimes a tear, to create pictures capturing moments that tell a story is most fulfilling and brings me joy also as well as my clients. The challenge and pressure that comes with taking photos, you have only one time to get it right. There is so much more to photography than people know, a camera in hand does not make a photographer good.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspirations from family and friends having confidence in me when I didn't feel I could do it, the motivation and drive that came from the challenge to create images like the high ends magazine weddings we've all seen. To bring happiness and joy to my clients from a finished image. I am truly humbled by the fact that people find my images worth paying for.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have only one time to get the images (pics) right! this day is going to become one of the most important day of a lifetime. My experience in telling a story through images like capturing the grooms first look as the beautiful bride come down the aisle, the expressions from mom caught on camera, the proud moment of dad walking his wonderful princess of his life down the aisle!! none of this to be taken lightly. I'm up for the task, by the time the day is over we are literally friends with a relationship as we party in the reception lol. And let's be honest, you are paying for this lol. I am a 15 year wedding photographer based in Michigan, I have traveled all over the country photographing weddings. I primarily cover pre shots, ceremony and most of the reception, including the toast, first dance, cake cutting bouquet toss and garter removal. My goal is to tell a story by capturing emotions through images, (story telling).
