First time for us and took DIL and 11 month old granddaughter. Highly recommend as food and service were exceptional. They are very welcoming here which adds greatly to the experience.

Not only is this the absolute BEST cafe for breakfast and lunch, but the catering service is phenomenal as well!!! My sister and I started a Breakfast Club over a year ago and tried dozens of cafes from Palm Harbor to St Pete, until we unanimously decided that Marguerite’s adorable cafe in Dunedin outranks them all! Delicious omelettes, amazing desserts, incredible soups, salads, and sandwiches, and the PERFECT biscuits, every time!!! Even the grits are on point, which is hard to find! My family, friends, and I relish every consistently incredible meal here! We regularly eat here now, sometimes more than once a week! And today, they catered a tea party/baby shower for 45 people!!! Exceptional finger sandwiches, pinwheels, biscuits, scones, danishes, and desserts!!! Everyone was blown away!!! Catering for that many people with an extensive variety of choices is a huge task - and yet, every single item was the best that anyone had ever tasted - scones shouldn’t taste that good! Great place, so cozy and the food was delicious. My hubby had the Reuben and I had the pancakes, we both loved it. Marguerite , the owner is a sweetheart 💓 she made sure she went to every table to make sure everyone was happy and was enjoying themselves. Have been going to Marguerite’s Cafe for years and have always had great food and service and today was no exception! Started with a cream of cauliflower soup that had me licking the bowl followed by the Grilled Caribbean Chicken Salad with a Mango Chardonnay Dressing! We had such a great experience with Marguerite’s Cafe and Catering. Marguerite was so kind and easy to work with the whole way through. We used her catering service for our baby shower and she really helped us figure out how to feed 60+ people while staying on budget, which we appreciated so much.The food was delicious and our guests had nothing but good things to say. How did I not know about this gem! I am not a fan of big franchise restaurants, (you just dont feel the love in the experience or the food) But this is why I love Dunedin. There aren't too many places these days that can say they have been around for 20 years! But It felt like family right away! The Shrimp and Grits were delicious and It's my go to at every place I've been. Staff was very attentive, even the girl that wasn't waiting on me! Also one of the cleanest places I've eaten! Marguerite’s is our go-to place in Dunedin! It’s so adorable with inside and outside dining options! Breakfast is phenomenal, lunch is amazing, and yes, we’ve had the good fortune of dining here for dinner on special occasions like Easter and 4th of July - all the food is ridiculously delicious! It is Marguerite, Randi, Emily, and the whole staff who make this place truly special! They treat us like family, and we are happy to call them friends! I wanted to find a private room for my best friend’s birthday Not only did we get that we got the whole restaurant to ourselves, After hours! !! We Rented the space on a Saturday night 7 PM to 10 PM. It was absolutely perfect, She let me decorate however I wanted bringing the vision I had to life. We had a buffet style menu. She decorated that whole area beautifully.
