We recently vacationed in Oklahoma City, Ok and did not have an itinerary of any kind. We googled attractions in the area and The Amazing Jonathan popped up number 1. Our son who is 8 is obsessed with learning tricks, card tricks and performing for family so we thought why not...and let me tell you, Jonathan was worth every penny! He's personable, funny and a great magician! With every trick, my kids eyes grew wider. Jonathan was even sweet enough to involve my kids in some of his tricks. How long have you been interested in magic?
Since I was 4 years old. I grew up practicing the art of magic EVERYDAY. I began performing shows while in college during the summers a "Frontier City", which is a theme park located in Oklahoma City.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
It's the best magic and comedy in Oklahoma. I do have several shows. Typically, I'll stroll around doing close up magic, then perform for your entire group with a comedy magic show.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything! I love the process of "fine tuning" a routine and tailoring it to specific audiences. Watching people's reactions is the ultimate reward!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I just sort of "fell into it". Magic is a hobby that turned into my career. There are many magicians who inspired me along the way.
