Mark is a pro! I manage a private yacht club and we have several events that’s we use Mark for. The kids love him at the holiday party, adults are blown away by him at our Halloween party, magic happy hour and a bunch of other events. He’s social and interacts very well with guests. This is my first time using Bark. My event was in a few days and I wasn’t sure anyone great would still be available. I’ve been to kids parties with magicians before and have not really been impressed and I didn’t really know what to expect with Mark. First of all he was very easy to work with, when we changed our date last minute he was very flexible and accommodating. He came on time like he said and at first I thought how am I supposed to get all these kids off the inflatables and sit down for a magic show. But Mark captured their attention for a full hour even when the ice cream truck pulled up. Even the adults enjoyed the show, it was the best money spent for the party. How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been interested in magic for over 50 years. From my first magic set through my shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco and New York City, I'm constantly learning and updating my act with the latest magical illusions. My Stand-Up and Close-Up shows have been tested over 40+ years with hundreds of audiences. Self-contained, I require no special lighting or sound. What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a magician at Six Flags amusement park for two seasons when I was a High School student. Magic by Mark grew out of that experience and I performed regularly in college. After college graduation, I performed on weekends and visited magic conventions in cities across America. I've now performed in five countries and live/work in NV.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always sanitize my props after each show and I use a generous amount of hand sanitizer during my show.
Stand-Up, Stage-type Magic
I perform Stage and Close-Up, Sleight-of-Magic for All-age audiences. There's something for EVERYONE!
Most shows last up to an hour and include audience participation. There is NO smoke or fire and my show is G-rated for all audiences. Classics include cards, coins, rope tricks, silk scarves, paper streamers, vanishing and appearing objects. My act does NOT include juggling, bubbles, balloons or animals. When you have a date, time and aprox. number of guests, please call to discuss your event. My reasonable rates are only one reason why customers choose Magic by Mark for their events.

Close-Up, Sleight-of-Hand magic.
I'm an accomplished Sleight-of-Hand magician and perform regularly at restaurants and reception halls.
My act includes cards, coins, silk scarves and much more!
My Close-Up act is usually no more than 30 minutes but I often combine my Stage and Close-Up acts for a full hour of magical entertainment. This Two-for-One act is very popular and is an excellent value. I often am hired to go table-to-table entertaining small groups a few minutes at a time, before or after dinner. Magical MC
I have MC'd for a variety of events and make announcements while performing magic. My background is in Radio, Film and Television. Often, I'll welcome guests and perform an opening trick or two before introducing a speaker or the DJ. Throughout the event, I continue to make announcements, call out guests for recognition, remind guests to bid during a silent auction, present awards, etc. These elements are greatly enhanced by magic and guests remember these events for years. Trade Shows and Conventions.
My Corporate Event experience is extensive.
I've worked in booths and at Happy Hours all over the world. My unique magic entertains groups of ANY size.
You should plan on booking an hour per 50 guests as I often spend up to 10 minutes with each group.
In your booth at a Trade Show or Convention, I'll triple your traffic and leads. Some Clients have me "reappear" at their Hospitality Suite following a Trade Show to further impress their guests. Many deals are sealed in this way!
