Was very hesitant about trying out dog training because our 5 month old, 4lb Maltese, was already pretty set in his ways of accidents everywhere and naturally combative personality of his breed with the added bonus of a toddler at home who also would need training to keep him trained. We met with a few different trainers but none made us feel confident the way that Travis did. He truly is a jack of all trades having big breeds and small of his own and hearing his background of how he got into training made us believers. Our boy is so well-behaved now, our 3 year old instigates our boy keeps his cool and is so gentle now! He was always a joy but we get to enjoy his part in our family that much more. It's truly night and day so if I can help anyone who's wondering if it's worth the money, i'll ask you, can you imagine your dog listening to your every command and how much would that lessen the load of laboring love? The answer is probably yes, you just don't know if your dog can manage? The answer is that they probably can, they just need Uncle Trav. We're so grateful we took our chances, we knew he would be in gentle but firm and truly kind hands, we just didn't know if our boy could retain the lessons at home with parents who let him get away with everything and a toddler sister who is loving yet too playful at times, but when I tell you we we're shocked, it doesnt feel like enough, we're still completely WOW'd!

I found Travis with Kings Corner via his car ad on 2/28/2026, called him on 3/6/2026, had a consult on 3/12/2026 and we scheduled my Pomeranian to train with him and his wife from 3/16/2026 through 3/22/2026 for the one week program. It was the best decision I’ve made for my Tori. I was worried she was always going to be very anxious towards dogs. I was not able to walk her without her causing a scene but Kings Corner helped her with that issue and so much more in one week. I still can’t believe it. She is still a spunky Pom but now she has respect. It’s been so easy continuing the training with her at home and in public. I can take her out in public without issue now. Let me start off by saying that I would give Kings Corner 10 stars if I could. I had an extremely reactive dog with whom I have struggled with behavior wise for the past 5 years. He barked like a maniac, and lunged and growled at people near, people far, dogs, children, bikes, cars, scooters, taco trucks...everything! If I took him on walks I would go way out of my way to find a place where there was no one. And if someone did happen to walk near us, I had to duck out and find a new route. Taking a ride in the car was a nightmare. He would growl and bark at people on the street or people in the car next to us. Going to a park or a dog friendly location was horrible. A few times he managed to escape from his leash and chased the neighborhood kids. They were petrified of him and I was embarrassed and upset. After 5 years of trying to train him myself through treats and positive affirmations, I realized that I needed to do something different. Not just for him, but for me. In reality, he ran the show. He walked where he wanted to. He would take charge and ignore my requests. We were both miserable! I love my dog and I knew that he needed to be trained by a professional and I needed to be taught how to work with him. A couple of weeks ago, I found Kings Corner and contacted them via text. After six amazing lessons, I watched my dog transform into a calm, relaxed, and trained dog. We walked him through multiple situations where in the past would have sent him into a major frenzy. He doesn't react to it now. He has learned what is acceptable and what is not. He now looks to me for guidance and walks right next to me. He knows I have his back. This training not only changed my dog, it changed me. I feel like a confident dog owner! When I give my dog a command, he follows it. He now knows that I am the one in charge. If you have fears about using an e-collar, let me explain. It's not a shock collar. You can try it on yourself. It isn't painful in any sort of way. It works IMMEDIATELY. I have had three generations of Dalmatians so I felt confident that I could train a new puppy..Lol! Last year, we had to say goodbye to our oldest gorgeous girl , Amber (Liver Spotted Dalmatian/ German Short Hair). To get our dog child count back up to 3, we got a 12 month old rescue dalmatian girl, Kiara, who is as sweet and beautiful as can be. We thought she was conveniently deaf but soon discovered she was actually deaf. I have not had a deaf Dalmatian before, needless to say she was a handful!! As life went on, the anxious behaviors started to come out -chewing, breaking furniture, counter surfing, raiding the garbage, complete social anxiety with other dogs, terrorizing our 16 year old beagle/dal, Axel.... you get the idea. I had reached my limit and realized that we needed the help of a professional dog trainer. Don’t know where to exactly to begin. I was in a position where I needed to get my dogs trained. Getting rescues you don’t know their backgrounds and what they may have been through. I have a hard time going places because my dogs are protective of me and they tend to growl at people they don’t know, or want to pull the leash towards other dogs. One has high anxiety when it comes to kids, scooters, and skateboards. My fear is having someone watching them and they may be bit.

My friend Stephen wasn’t able to come to my condo or be near my dogs without them barking or being aggressive . Now he’s able to walk them.

I contacted Travis because I needed to do something because I’m not able to leave town if I need to and I don’t want them to be boarded at the vet with more anxiety.

Travis boarded them at his place and worked with them for two weeks. The first day he was able to pick them up, which is a first for a stranger to do. I had to learn to trust the process. It’s been night and day on the difference.

Travis worked with me on the leashes and E-collars to correct them. We went to the park where there are large crowds and noise. I feel they are getting better to be in new environments.

What’s nice is that I’m able to board them with Travis if I have to leave, they love him, and are familiar with him. I don’t have to worry about them and I know they’ll be safe.

Travis was great with our 7 month old beagle. When we picked him up he explained how to continue training at home in a way we understood.

Kings Corner was exactly what we needed with improving our dogs all around behavior. Mostly we wanted to have walkable dogs who followed simple directions. Travis worked around our busy schedule and we were also on the complete opposite side of town. We chose to keep the dogs and have training in our home, but they also offered a boarding training program. It was obvious after only one session that we made the right decision. Our dogs Lamont and Elroy learned the command “place” in 10 minutes of our first session. Prior to that we were physically lifting Elroy into his crate. He liked to destroy throw pillows. We also were trainees. It wasn’t just the dogs, Kings Corner taught us how to have better expectations for them and how to apply those expectations. Had an unruly pup, did not appear that she was going to work out for the family. Thought we would try one last time using a professional trainer-so thankful we did! ! Travis is amazing, transformed the pup in 21 days!! to a pup that is going to be outstanding, possibly better than anyone of our Labradors we had in the past 39 years and I thought we had the best of the best all these years! So grateful for everything Travis did for our anxious corgi. She went from having multiple accidents in our house daily to accident free AND obedient after spending 3 weeks with him. Hes the best!

Travis is an amazing dog trainer who truly cares about his clients (dogs and humans).
I made a last minute decision to rescue a dog that was on the transfer (euthanasia) list at the local shelter. The issue is I already had rescue dogs that had some behavioral issues and I when I met Zeus at the shelter, he was wild, sweet but wild. I knew it was going to be an issue introducing him to my pack. I started calling around for trainers and stumbled upon Kings Corner. I called Travis, fully expecting that he would not have openings in the near future, and i needed help asap. He listened to my issues and to my surprise had availability. We met the next day and he gave me hope that I could have a happy pack with this new dog.
Travis took Zeus for 3 weeks and the difference is nothing short of amazing. Zeus walks like a gentleman, listens and is such a good dog. Travis’ training has given Zeus confidence, and I would say the same for myself.
While I understand that board and train is not possible for everyone, his cost was very reasonable for the amount of work he did with Zeus, and was well worth the investment. His fee was overall less expensive than other board and train trainers that I had contacted and he only works a few dogs at a time, so I knew my dog was in good hands.

Five stars for Travis! I took my 5 1/2 month old puppy to him for two weeks for "boarding school." At the end, he had me come so I could get trained too, and then later we met at a park and also took the pup to Petco for an excursion. My dog is much easier to handle now, listens well, and seems proud of what she has learned. My neighbors have noticed how much better she is during our walks. 5+ Stars!!! I came to Travis with my 4 month old golden doodle, Sushi. As a single mom, working full time, I got to the point where I needed major help with potty outside, socialization and major chewing issues. I was at the end of my rope trying to do it all. I immediately had a great vibe as soon as I talked to Travis. He was a good listener and made me feel like there was hope. As tough as it was to know our lil'Sushi would be at puppy boot camp for 4 weeks...it was 1,000% worth it. Travis stayed in communication, sent videos and photos. I was immediately impressed just after 1 week. At the 4th week, Travis trained me then my kiddos over a few hours. We took him home and began implementing all the commands to ensure consistency. We had our 2 1/2 year old Siberian Husky who was very unmannered and would jump on guest and our glass sliding door had a very Alpha male presence. Also had our Shepherd Husky Mix who was more follow the leader type gal & whenever I myself would come home she would jump on me and have a instant melt down to were I’d have the hardest time getting through the door to enter our home. We sent both for boarding & training for 2.5weeks.

Our husky was very stubborn and standoffish with Travis for about the first 4-5 days and after the first week he had called wanting couple xtra days to work with him we had agreed it would be best to get best results out of him as he will push boundaries. Let me tell y’all this training was worth everything! You should be there the last 4 days of the dogs training as you will be taught so many key factors into implementing these tools at home. It has made such a difference! Especially owning one of the most high energy & stubborn dog breeds out there. I have no regrets what so ever. This training was the best thing me & my husband have decided to do for our dogs and family!

Our Siberian husky is so well mannered now, and our Shepherd husky mix no longer freaks out when I arrive home neither of them jump on anyone anymore! 12/10 🤩 More...

Extremely pleased with my pup’s obedience following his training with King’s Corner Dog Training! I appreciate the time Travis spent with me, answering all of my questions before Flynn’s training, then at the end, ensuring I was able to work with my pup to continue his obedience at home. Flynn completed a four week course with Travis at King’s Corner, and the results are amazing! Travis got back to us about our boarding needs immediately. He came to our home, met with our dog and we decided he needed training as well as boarding during our vacation. He is a different dog now! I couldn’t be more happy with Travis. My dog is 12 years old and his deaf so, I didn’t really think he could achieve much from the training, but I was wrong, he learned so much and I’m so happy now I get to go everywhere with my baby since he now knows how to behave in public places.

Working with Travis, he broke down each step so we understood how to control our dog. Understanding commands and leash handling and how they work together made the process easier for me to grasp.
