Josh is an amazing magician and entertainer! He did strolling magic to engage and create excitement before his stage show. All of our guest loved the whole evening, especially when he called up volunteers to assist him. Josh ended the evening with a paddle auction for donations to help keep our YMCA's mission in motion. I hired Josh for a company social event. I found him on Google. From the get-go, he was professional, responsive, pleasant, and easy to work with. He told me enough about his performance without giving too much away, which was nice because I was also able to enjoy the performance as the organizer of the event. His rate was extremely reasonable, and he made himself available on the date we needed, driving all the way up to Chicago from the St. Louis area. He performed in the private room we booked at a restaurant, and didn’t need a complicated set-up.Our group unanimously agreed, we couldn’t have been happier with Josh’s performance. He was incredibly entertaining and kept everyone engaged the entire time. Our group was a corporate crowd with a wide range of personalities, and he read the room very well.My one concern was that hiring Josh a second time would be predictable to those that attended the first performance. Josh assured me that that wouldn’t be the case, that he had a range of acts and that he offers team building as well. Some of our guests can get nervous with audience participation, but Josh’s humor and charisma kept everyone at ease. Our space was non-traditional, but Josh was so accommodating and made it work. How long have you been interested in magic?
I learned my first trick at 5 years old and I have been obsessed ever since.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My show is highly interactive and heavy on audience participation. Minds will be read. Objects will end up in impossible places. And the whole show culminates in an incredible prediction the room will not forget.
The show is also customizable to your brand and message.
What do you love most about your job?
My favourite thing about my job is getting to make other people's events amazing. Before I was a professional magician, I worked as an accountant and I attended a lot of boring events. Now that I have been able to take my experience in magic and knowledge of corporate culture and create engaging presentations for my clients, I attend a lot of good ones.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The fulfillment of a lifelong dream, becoming a professional magician, inspired me to start my own business.
