My group had the pleasure of having a performance by Josh this weekend, and I can confidently say it was an experience everyone will remember, to include a few of the skeptics. He captivated the audience, of military caregivers and their families with ages ranging from 16 to 65. His ability to engage such a diverse group speaks volumes about his talent. Josh's acts were nothing short of astounding and left many scratching their heads in disbelief. The way he intertwined the need for resilience with his mind-bending tricks created an atmosphere of wonder and intrigue. People in the attendance swore he did a deep dive into the audience but as the coordinator of the event I knew that wasn’t a possibility! As an event planner for a group (300+ attendees) that can be a tough audience to entertain, I was in search of something different from the same old cover band–something that would be remembered and talked about.
In my search I came across “I Am Josh, Mentalist”–and couldn’t be happier with my find and choice to engage him. Josh was professional to deal with, patient with unexpected schedule changes, and an exceptional value. His performance was appropriate for families with younger children and our extremely diverse demographic with attendees in age from their 20s to their 70s. He was entertaining to say the least, leaving attendees with jaw dropping questions about how he does what he does. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend him for any group and would encourage event planners to include the Mix and Mingle after show to give attendees even more to think and talk about!
In the time of COVID and social distancing - Josh amped up his game to do virtual shows and those also did not disappoint. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wondered if a mentalist show would translate over Zoom but it did and 30 minutes doesn't seem like nearly enough time - and kept our family and other Zoom attendees wishing for more! In the current mode of social distancing and general heaviness of life, this was a welcome distraction and NOT your regular Zoom meeting. I can't even say I'd like to see this show again, because I know with Josh no two shows are the same!

How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been entertaining for as long as I can remember. About 10 years ago, I took an interest in mentalism. At first, it was a hobby and just something I did for friends and family. Then, 6 years ago, I decided to set up a public show. It went incredibly well, and as they say, well...the rest is history.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Right off the bat, everyone is drawn in with a quick game that ends with a very big surprise. Laughter and gasps are guaranteed within the first few minutes. As the show progresses, I hone in on specific individuals and small groups. Your guests will be on the edge of their seats as they watch me influence decisions, predict behaviors, and extract thoughts in a fun and entertaining way.
Mix and Mingle Mindreading
Mix and mingle mind reading is perfect for kicking off an event or during a cocktail hour. The focus is on bringing people together, creating interactions, building new relationships, and removing the awkwardness many people feel when in a crowd. Your guests will experience the thrill of having their minds read up close and personal with a mini 5-7 minute performance that leaves everyone with plenty to talk about for the rest of the night.
