I recently worked with Intentionally Designed Interiors, and I’m really happy with the results. As a widower, I’ve been navigating a lot of emotions while making changes to my home, especially with the kitchen, which was really outdated.
From the very start, they took the time to listen to my concerns and understood what I needed in a way that made me feel heard and supported.
The team was professional and attentive throughout the process. They offered great suggestions but always made sure to stay aligned with what I had in mind. My kitchen has been completely transformed, and it’s not only more functional but looks amazing too.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome, and I really appreciate how smoothly everything went. If you’re looking to update your space, I’d definitely recommend Intentionally Designed Interiors.

Commercial Interior Designers
While I understand there may have been factors outside your control, I stand by my review because the quality of the plans and the communication throughout the process were far below professional standards. Throughout the process, I was constantly asked to do research and reach out to the city for basic information that should have been handled by you or was ultimately unnecessary. To clarify, I was forced to find a new firm because your plans were ultimately unusable and rejected by the city. Your plans were only three pages, whereas the final set I received is over 30 pages long. The new plans were completed and submitted in just 10 days, not the 4 months it took with you. I shared your plans with other architects to better understand the situation, and most were taken aback by the quality of the work. As a commercial designer, you should have advised me upfront about the change of use and informed me that if there was a change of use, you would not be able to complete the project. You also stated that you had a friend who could stamp things if needed, but that fell through as well. Your plans were not used for the final project, and your defense of them shows a lack of responsibility for the errors and shortcomings. I stand by my review because the service I received did not meet professional standards. More...

Commercial Interior Designers
My experience with Intentionally Designed Interiors was extremely disappointing. Despite a 4-month project timeline, the communication was poor and inconsistent. I was pressured to pay in full before the work was completed so the designer could go on a personal vacation. The final plans were riddled with errors, including incorrect measurements, labeling mistakes, and missing elements like the equipment list and elevations, which I had to create myself. When I requested a refund, it was refused. Ultimately, I had to hire a new firm to start from scratch and fix everything. I would strongly advise against using this service, especially for projects requiring attention to detail, compliance, or permitting." More...

Sean, Your review of my work is not consistent with emails and text of my work of how timely and professional it looked. The floorplans provided were used by other trade professionals which was passed by the city. The main issue for which was out of my control was 'change of occupancy' not the issues you have described.
What’s your interior design process?
Our process is simple. We begin with a 'No Obligation' 15-minute consultation to allow both the client and the design firm to introduce themselves, to allow the client to explain their project and their vision. If you decide to collaborate with us, we will schedule a site visit where measurements and pictures of the project area will be done, discuss further and gather as much information to design your desired outcome, then the design concepts begins. Which interior design styles can you cater for?
The design firm is a Biophilic Interior Design Firm. This means there is 'no style' per se but Biophilic principles and elements are integrated into all design styles rather than adhering to a particular aesthetic style.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is I'm a problem-solver.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Initially, I had a bad experience during my own personal remodel with contractor. I didn't want anyone else to go through what I went through. I changed direction in 2017. My daughter was hit by a drunk driver. She was shy of graduating from college. this beautiful, happy girl was in a very dark place. I researched and attended many seminars to help my daughter heal. I used what I learned and redesigned her bedroom with the use of colors, natural light and textures. My daughter has flourished and is now in the medical field. This is how I became a Biophilic Interior Designer.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients choose me for my expertise in seamlessly integrating nature into their spaces, enhancing well-being and connection. I collaborate closely, ensuring their vision is realized with precision, creativity, and sustainable practices.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. We provide zoom meetings whereby the client can show the project area. I can then take pictures of the project area. If this is a remodel project, We will request an existing blueprint from their local building department to accurately get the layout. The Design Firm will create a secure folder for the client/designer to share pictures and progress of the project.
