The annals of business history are filled with cases of inaccurate financial statements being relied upon by investors which turned out to be fraudulent causing severe monetary losses. The same holds true for small businesses whose owners either might not be interested in administrative tasks or not particularly adept at financial work. It is even more imperative for small businesses to have accurate information related to their company profit, their cash balance (G/L and Bank) and a list of vendors with the amounts who they owe money to as well as a list of customers with the amounts who owe money to the business. If a proprietor doesn't know all of items, their business might be doomed even if it seems to be successful by having a lot of customers. A great accountant prepares the necessary information so that a business owner is able to keep track of their financial position.

I enjoy taking raw data and turning it into a useful document which provides a business snapshot. I find it more gratifying to speak one-on-one with other business owners using my experience to help them be successful. I particularly enjoy working with new or recently opened businesses so that I can use my experience assisting them begin with a suitable accounting and company structure.

I felt there was a need for first-time business owners to be able to hire someone who has the experience with starting new companies and to be able to have someone who can be objective with their recommendations being in the clients' best interest. I can work with and help more people as a business owner as opposed to working exclusively for one company.

There are a lot of companies who want to sell their products or services but not all of them have the best interest of their customers. When potential customers are deciding whether or not to choose my firm, one factor they can count on is that I will always treat their businesses using the recommendations suggested as if they were mine.

Heritage Accounting Services, LLC has the ability to provide financial services requested in whatever manner our clients choose. If a client is a great distance away from our firm, information can be sent electronically using passwords as the situation requires.
However, I feel it is important for myself and the client to meet in person occasionally due to the important nature of the services provided so that time can be allocated for discussion or to focus on answering any questions the client may have.

Heritage Accounting Services, LLC can work on a remote basis, if a client requests such an arrangement, for whatever reason. As mentioned above, there are ways in which information can be protected during electronic transfer.
