We had an amazing experience with Glamorous Faces. I was looking for a very special Christmas present for one of our friends who is battling cancer. She had a photoshoot and wanted to look beautiful, and not like a cancer patient. That is a very tricky request when you’re going through chemo, and your hair is thinning and falling out. I heard back immediately via email and explained what we were looking for. In a very short period of time Karen reached out to me via phone call to get all the details. She set us up with Olga, to do the hair and make up, and we couldn’t have been happier with the way everything turned out. Olga was an absolute sweetheart, easy to talk to, and a magician when it came to applying make up and doing hair - yes, even thinning, falling out hair!! She did an amazing job!!! Our friend felt beautiful for her photoshoot (and all day long). She especially loved having eyelashes. She immediately changed her profile picture, and it was one of the best Christmas presents we could have given!! What I love most about this work isn’t just creating beautiful hair and makeup, it’s being part of one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life.
There’s something incredibly special about watching a vision come to life, seeing the excitement build, and knowing I helped someone feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves. Those quiet moments before walking down the aisle, the happy tears, the laughter with loved ones, and the memories made throughout the morning are what make this work so rewarding.
I truly love getting to know each couple, celebrating their unique story, and creating a beauty experience that feels personal, calm, and unforgettable. At the end of the day, it’s not just about how you look, it’s about how you feel, and knowing I played a small part in such an important chapter of your life is the greatest honor.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Glamorous Faces was inspired by my love for helping people feel confident without ever feeling overdone. I saw so many wedding looks that transformed people into someone they didn’t recognize, and I knew I wanted to create something different.
I built Glamorous Faces around the belief that your hair and makeup should enhance who you already are, not hide it. Every couple deserves a beauty experience that feels personal, calm, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end.
