I was going through the darkest time of my life during my divorce. I was stuck, overwhelmed by resentment, and just lost. It was affecting my job, my relationship with my kids . It was brutal. I needed to break out of this cycle. So, I started my own self-healing journey.
I’ve always believed in my ability to self-reflect and I do have an amazing support system of family and friends, but I could not keep leaning on them with my personal issues—nor did I want to share everything I was going through. I needed a different kind of support.
Several people suggested I try therapy, so I did. While it helped initially, I kept hearing more about life and career coaches. I thought, “What could it hurt?” So, I did my research. Initially, I assumed that after everything I’d been through, I’d connect better with a male coach. Then I came across Kole Finley—and that assumption quickly changed.
From our very first conversation, Kole stood out. I interviewed about half a dozen potential coaches, but none of them came close. Kole’s presence, insight, and her ability to connect. Looking back now, six months later, choosing to work with Kole was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. After just a few weeks of with Kole, I dropped the therapist.
Over the last six months, my weekly sessions with Kole have were the highlight of my week. She has this incredible ability to truly listen, challenge my thinking, and reframe situations in ways that just make sense. She provided me with tools that have completely transformed the way I approach both my personal and professional life.
At work, my growth has been exponential. I’m now preparing for the next steps in my career with a confidence and clarity. On the personal side, my relationship with my children has never been better.
