What’s your interior design process?
We start with how you want to live in the space and what you're drawn to. I measure, plan the layout, and bring you a direction with real materials. You see 3D renderings before anything is ordered. Then I handle ordering, building access, and installation.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Traditional, contemporary, modern, and combinations of them. The direction comes from you. My job is executing it properly, not applying a signature.
What do you love most about your job?
I love designing a room and seeing the joy of my client’s face at the end!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in 2005 at an Italian showroom in the New York Design Center, surrounded by designers doing remarkable work, and wanted to build something with my own point of view. Essential Elegance followed in 2011.

I follow whatever building and client preferences are in place, and can run consultations by factime/video.
Full Service Interior Design: Concept to Installation
Complete interior design for apartments and homes across New York City, from the first walkthrough to the day the last piece is installed. It starts with measurements and space planning, working out how the space should function: circulation, furniture placement, storage, and where built ins would earn their keep. From there I produce measured drawings and detailed specifications in AutoCAD, prepared so contractors and fabricators can build from them without guesswork, including finish schedules and product specs. On projects involving structural work, I coordinate with a licensed architect. Before anything is ordered, 3D and virtual renderings show you the finished room, the materials, and the light, so we adjust on screen rather than after delivery. Then comes selection and sourcing: furniture, lighting, textiles, and finishes, including trade showroom pieces that aren't available at retail. I place the orders, track lead times, coordinate building access and certificates of insurance, and manage delivery and installation. New York buildings have rules about all of this and I handle them. Projects range from a single room to a full residence.
