I had both Curt and Tracy for my wedding this past weekend. I couldn’t think of anyone better to be apart of our wedding! Tracy was fantastic ! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good he was and how he had the perfect music going the whole night! He was on top of things the whole way. From the ceremony music and coordination, to the reception dances, music, and crowd work. Curt was so super easy to work with. He made sure I got all of the photos I wanted and made sure to capture each and every moment. HIGHLY recommend Tracy. I almost don't want to just incase I need a DJ again! 😄 In all seriousness, we can't recommend him enough! He's incredibly kind and very good at his job. He makes sure you get exactly what you want. He went above and beyond to help us and we literally couldn't have done it without him. I highly recommend the up-lighting too! It added so much to the room and he even had the perfect color to match my wedding! Everything ended up being perfect. Definitely have them change with the music for a reception, it was fun! Tracy was amazing! He was so responsive to emails, any questions that we had he got back to us same day. He met with us a few weeks before our wedding and we went over songs that were must haves and do not play. The day of our wedding he came up went over the plan for the reception with us and made sure he had the bridal parties names right. The rest of the night went great thanks to him. DJ Tracy at Entertainment Tonite did a great job as a DJ for my wedding! He was super easy to work with and very organized when planning the wedding. We met in person before to go through my vision and create the timeline. Tracy listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure the day was perfect. For me, the most important thing was a packed dance floor and after dinner the dance floor was packed until the end. All of the songs were great to dance to. Tracy was absolutely incredible! He worked with us leading up to the wedding on creating a song list that balanced our favorite, more rock-style songs with songs that would have people dancing. And he read the room and had everyone dancing well into the night! When we met with him before the wedding he helped us set up the timeline and took all of our suggestions! The day of the wedding the weather channel was calling for rain and our ceremony was supposed to be outside. He made sure he was prepared for an inside and outside ceremony so I didn't have to worry about it! Luckily it cleared up and we got to have it outside! High school stadiums have better vantage points and bigger crowds. Tracy talked me out of using music, thank God, bc the sounds of the game and crowd bring back great memories. It was an easy link to send to college coaches. My daughter got her scholarship but I’m happy that video is still on the internet bc I still like to watch it. We used them for their DJ services, photography, and videography services. We also got our photo booth from them! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret is two-fold. One part is a good, knowledgeable DJ that can read the crowd and the second part is a couple and their bridal party that's interested in dancing all night long!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is to allow the focus of the reception to be on YOU and your guests! It's your day. I do not put on a show and try to become the center of attention. I will professionally make all of the announcements and keep your guests informed as to what is about to occur. I will creatively mix music to keep your dance floor energized. Your dance floor will be packed (read my reviews!), because I select the right songs and use my experience to mix those songs in the right sequence (timing is everything).
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with couples to help them plan the reception of their dreams.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As mentioned, mine is a second generation family business that was started by my father. I grew to love working with couples on who are planning their weddings.
