Elijah is an amazingly gifted and empathetic person. I joined the others at a conference with a “why not, let’s see what happens” attitude. I am so glad I did! Over the next 45 min (I was told the time because time stands still when you’re a part of Elijah’s show!) I allowed myself to surrender to the idea that one’s mind is always able to grow and be open if you let it. Amazing insightful and ultimately a very positive window into mind body correlation. While I respect all feedback, I must clarify several key inaccuracies in this review. This event was originally booked and contracted as a post-dinner comedy hypnosis show, which was clearly communicated through Bark and agreed upon in writing. However, the client made a last-minute change to move the performance earlier in the day, placing it immediately after a breakout session — without informing the audience of what kind of show they were about to see. This led to initial confusion, which I worked professionally to overcome. The performance space provided was not suitable or safe for the 35 volunteer chairs requested — it lacked adequate stage size and safety rails. I addressed this concern directly with the client and suggested a safe alternative setup in front of the stage to ensure audience safety, which was implemented without delay. We still started on time and delivered the full show. Contrary to the claim, I did use the hotel room for a pre-show shower as scheduled. Since the show was moved up six hours, I was able to return home afterward, which should not be mischaracterized as negligence. During the show, an audience member (a supervisor) attempted to pull a volunteer offstage mid-performance. The audience spontaneously rallied in support of the volunteer — a testament to their engagement, not any lack of control. At no time was I informed by the client that they were dissatisfied, nor was any complaint raised at or after the event. This review was submitted nearly 6 months later, with no prior communication, which raises concerns. I’ve built my reputation over 15 years performing for corporate, college, and high-profile clients across the U.S., and I stand by the professionalism and integrity of my work. What I love most is watching a room transform.

I believed audiences deserved something more personal than a performer simply delivering the same show night after night.
