What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my coaching practice because I saw a gap between what leaders were being taught and what they truly needed to succeed. In my work as a senior city administrator, I watched talented professionals struggle with confidence, communication, and burnout — not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked support and a structured way to grow.
Coaching allows me to bridge that gap. It gives leaders a safe space to think, reflect, and build strategies that work in real life. I founded Dr. Joe Coaching to help others find clarity, lead with purpose, and achieve lasting results for themselves and their teams.

Yes — all of my coaching sessions are available online for maximum flexibility. I work with clients across the U.S. and internationally using Zoom or phone sessions. This allows busy professionals to connect from their office, home, or while traveling without sacrificing the quality of the coaching experience.
I also provide digital tools, worksheets, and follow-up resources so clients can continue their growth between sessions.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To ensure the safety and convenience of my clients, all coaching sessions are conducted remotely via phone or Zoom. This eliminates the need for in-person meetings while maintaining a high level of engagement and personalized support. Additionally, I offer text and email communication to provide continuous assistance, ensuring that clients can access coaching services safely and effectively from the comfort of their own space.
