Dogz Training and Behavior

Is your dog aggressive, fearful, super hyper, or naughty? Don't give up on them yet! Sarah Anderson at Dogz can help even the most challenging dog. We had a 'come to Jesus' moment two years ago when our rescued beagle-basset bit a man while at the vet. We had taken him to several trainers and classes in the past, but he remained fearful to the point of violence. We didn't want to give him up despite his bad behavior, so we tried taking him to a class at Dogz. I'm so glad we did, because the trainer, Sarah, was able to help us and our dog, Patrick!Since the bite episode my husband and I have taken Patrick to several classes at Dogz - tricks, confident canine, and out and about - and the training has worked wonders! Not only are my husband and I now better dog owners, but Patrick is a more confident and normal dog. He is less reactive, and when he does meltdown his episodes are thankfully much shorter.I feel like the classes at Dogz strengthened the bond between me and my dog. My dog now takes commands and does tricks like a champ, and I feel confident that he's not going to bite anyone unless he's seriously provoked.Life in our house is better now that Sarah Anderson is in our lives! Watching Patrick evolve from a fearful and aggressive dog to a "good boy" has been amazing, and we have Dogz to thank for that. More...

Do not board your pet here! They are reckless. They are completely irresponsible. They willingly and purposefully disregarded a vet-ordered diet, despite a 30-minute phone call with Sarah, the owner, explaining why our dog is on said diet. Now, our dog has to be monitored by the vet. Also, they are verbally abusive to the dogs in the kennel. This was on full display during one of the training classes. Maybe others have had decent experiences, but do you really want your dog to be the one that has a similar experience to ours? Avoid, avoid, avoid. More...

I had my dog trained here; we did the agility training. The staff was very friendly, and the trainer/owner, Sarah, was very knowledgeable. They treated my dog very well and we had a lot of fun and learned a lot! Recommended for training and boarding. More...

I have been taking my dog (now dogs) to Dogz inc for a few years now and couldnt be happier. They staff treats us like family, they even know my dogs birthdays! We researched doggie day care facilities in reno and chose dogz inc because of the large open space which includes an outdoor area (after all of that potty training do you really want your dog doing their business indoors or on astro turf?) There are no individual suites with tv's or ipads for your dogs but Im sure your dog will survive w/o those for a day.  the staff is wonderful and you can tell that all truly love and bond with all of the dogs. I highly recommend Dogz inc to anyone looking for the perfect place for their furry companion. More...

Dogz Inc Rocks!The best of both worlds - Daycare/Boarding and Great Training. I trust them with my two Bernese Mountain Dogs and can not say enough good things about the facility, staff and other dogs. The facility is great for puppy's trying to get some socialization and big dogs looking for friends. Dogz Inc was a big reason my oldest dog has her K-9 Good Citizen Certificate. Thanks Sarah!
