Ragbar is an incredible DJ and a true professional. I can't say enough about the job he did at my 50th bday.
I gave him a rough setlist of a few dozen songs and he put together a mix that met the vibe of the party perfectly--and elevated it to make it a truly memorable event.
He really knows how to adjust in the moment to meet the mood. He had the dance floor going off, and everyone was commenting on what a great job he did.
He showed up early to set up, happily agreed to stay later than my original end-time, and brought a terrific energy throughout.

I hired DJ Ragbar for my 40th birthday party as well as my 20 year wedding anniversary party and was extremely happy with the results.
Ragbar took the time to truly listen to my needs, and those of my husband for our events, and it shows in his performances, expertise and professionalism.
Gatherings like weddings and anniversary parties where friends and family from different circles are present can be tricky but Ragbar was a gem in helping us navigate these waters. Of course we had our favorite songs and genras that we wanted played, but there was so much more to think about that we never considered such as pre-event music to set the vibe and closing music to gently usher everyone out in the best possible moods. Ragnar has SO many different types of music up his sleeve that I would definitely look to him if you want something unique and cool in addition to the standard party hits.
Other than a wide variety of music in his collection and being an amazing listener to attend to your needs (seriously, other DJs that we interviewed just wanted to play what they wanted to play), Ragbar has the BEST energy at any party! He is a joy to be around and can really get the crowd going. From grandmothers to little kids, EVERYONE loves DJ Ragbar! He has the best energy and is all smiles from start to finish.
Lastly, DJ Ragbar is super suave and very observant! We once had an "issue" with a guest who had too much to drink and he saw what was happened and played a song to get everyone to the dancefloor so that we could help our guest out. Another time, people were started to get board of the song selection that we had chosen so he flipped the music to somethign else (seamlessly) and got everyone on the dancefloor-is is great to have a good DJ but to have an experienced professional who can also read the room is golden!
Since we first hired DJ Ragbar almost 7 years ago I have recommended him to dozens of our friends and he is loved by all. I know that choosing a DJ is a huge endeavor and a big drop of cash, but seriously, if you want to have a fantastic event that goes off without a hitch, choose DJ Ragbar!
-oh, and he brings ALL of the equipment so even if you have your event in a super random spot-he's got you covered! He also does karaoke and has THOUSANDS of songs and quality mics (perfect for a teen birthday or holiday gathering!).

Incredible music, new and old, something for everyone. Got everyone happy and dancing even though it was cold. I only wish we didn't have to stop at 10pm due to city ordinance.
DJ Ragbar was incredible to work with all along the way. From the very beginning, he was focused on the experience my wife and I wanted to have and that we wanted our guests to have. He included our special songs and built a playlist that kept everyone on the floor.

Omg you guys! I have to share with you all how awesome DJ Ragbar was at the wedding I was at last night! The proof? Even grandma couldn't resist hitting the dance floor! With everyone too busy dancing, not a single drink was spilled. Once people started dancing, they couldn't tear themselves away! I watched as even the most reserved guest went from swaying with their hands in their pockets to waving their fingers in the air with abandon! I typically provide my service in person since online it doesn't make sense anymore being post-covid. On request in a special situation, I could also provide it online but it is not ideal since someone else then is responsible for the sound on the other end, plus where is the dance floor?
