Giving Brian a 1 star review for his behavior and how he acted ..He came over for diagnostics quoted me 75$ but only charged me a fair price of 50. ..he was on time and quick, and friendly ....he had to order the parts for the repair and would return when they arrived ..he let me know when they arrived and said he would put me on the schedule for the next day....he then sent me an invoice for 75 dollars which I said, I already paid for...he then told me that was for diagnostics and the 75 was for the repair.....I TOLD HIM MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I MISUNDERSTOOD THE PRICING BUT WAS COMPLETELY FINE SITH THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE, and would like him to still complete the work....he then immediately gets angry and sends me a barrage of texts explaining his charges and that why would he waste his time for 50 dollars, again I never argued or disagreed to the extra charge, I continually stated that I just misread it and want to proceed, he wouldn't let that part go, got pissed about it, and then refused to complete the work and said "ill just take the loss" he clearly acted completely inappropriate for a business owner over a simple mistake....so now I still have a broken mower which I'm just going to fix myself because he actually was nice and showed me exactly what was wrong....so idk what made him so upset but I would be forewarned before dealing with him....again he had fair prices, was on time and honest about everything but wanted to act a fool over something as simple as misreading the invoice and refused to complete the job, that's not a a professional conducts business More...

Extremely happy with Huey’s service. Honest, friendly, extremely reasonable as far as cost, informative and he got the job done very quickly in my driveway. He went to parts place to get a new battery for my car then got here and had it installed in probably 3-4 minutes. When I realized he fixes lawn mowers too, I pulled out my old dusty, rusty lawnmower that hasn’t started for several years and he had it running almost immediately after a couple sprays of something.. … and he wouldn’t charge me for it. Also should point out he got here and all of this done within a hour of me calling him. I had called another guy yesterday who jerked me around all day saying he would come here then put off til today and still would never would give me an approx time, so I gave up and contacted Huey’s. Review for Brian HueyEver since I moved from California I’ve been trying to find a reliable, trustworthy mechanic who charges fair prices, knows his stuff, and is good human to boot. Harder than I thought, but I finally found him. Brian is a class act, salt of the earth kind of guy, hard worker, really knows his stuff and cares about his customer. After a recent car repair where he came to my house and did the job in my garage including an emergency brake replacement in the rear, I can confidently say he’s awesome, responsive, and does not only the highest quality work, but his prices are more than fair. In fact for the fluid changes and brakes he charged me about half of what any of the automotive shops here in Waxhaw quoted me, and the work was superior. I actually tipped him, and am now fully convinced given the extra mile he went to examine my car fully and point out issues, that if I had used him for a Mechanics inspection, I would have been able to save about a grand off the used car I purchased.I am telling everyone in Union County about him, and recommend him highly. He will be doing all my oil changes, repairs, and routine maintenance , at my house, for all my cars from this day forward. We accidentally endangered my son's entire preschool class because we trusted the wrong vendor.Bounce house deflated an hour into our 4 year old's birthday party. Panic ensued and parents rushed to pull kids out. Two kids fell off the top of the slide area -- one was seriously hurt and had to leave. Others were stuck inside. They were scared and some hurt. All kids were 3-4 years old.Never seen anything like this before.The dads checked the back, and apparently the set up guy didn't zip the back vent for the air. The flap blew off and the entire thing lost air. After it was zipped closed, the house was fine the rest of the party.We have a two year old and almost four year old -- we've seen our share of bounce houses.
